Author Gary Bates went a saw a movie called “The Fourth Kind” which is a documentary/drama about alien abduction. He has been one of few Christians that has extensively researched this topic. He has written a review about this movie which is worth a read as it clearly explains that there is something spiritual happening to people which he does not deny.
But are these encounters aliens from another world or are they something far more sinister?
The portrayal of the scarred Tyler is harrowing, though. Although this may be a fictional account, the reality of such seriously damaged people is only too evident to those involved in abduction research. It is the real evidence of altered and broken lives that is only too recognizable as the fruit of the evil one using such deceptive and destructive practices to spite His Creator and turn the very subjects that God loves away from Him. Sadly, this fact is lost on secular researchers. Amazingly, the last scene with Tyler is extremely revealing. Her interviewer asks, “You said they claim to be God” (one entity was recorded saying these words in the movie). Tyler responds and says, “No, they
“… how credible is it to think that literally thousands of extraterrestrials would fly millions or billions of light-years simply to teach New Age philosophy, deny Christianity, and support the occult. . . . Why would they consistently lie about things which we know are true, and why would they purposefully deceive their contacts?”
One thing he writes and something that I totally agree with, is that the Church should have answers for these people who have been so traumatised by their experiences with these deceptive beings.

This area of spiritual warfare should be “bread and butter” for the church. It grieves me that many leaders do not know how to reach, and are not even willing to try and understand what is happening to, these people. A loving church that could embrace and explain this phenomenon will have people turning up at its door for answers. Unfortunately, most experiencers that I have met have felt shunned by the church. Instead, they seek the assistance of those in the UFO community who, sadly, will only reinforce the lie that they are being visited by highly evolved benevolent beings from another planet.

Listening further to the interview between Art Bell and Dr. Stephen Greer, Greer spoke about what you should do if you come across a close encounter of the third kind. He said that you should not panic, meditate and centre yourself into a non-locality consciousness and what he means by that is that you can learn how to centre your consciousness into a universal constant. I bet that sounds familiar to those of you who have been researching the emerging church movement??? He goes on to say that you must to this to invite them to come over and open up a spirit of dialogue!

So… yep, this is a spiritual thing. He then goes on to say that you can purchase materials on his website that will help you learn how to get into this deep meditative state so that you can invite these Aliens in and have what he calls an CE5 encounter; a close encounter of the fifth kind.

Now… with all the centering prayer and meditation that is going on in the Church and with the UFOlogists doing the same thing and trying to connect with a something that is inter-dimensional, does this not concern you??? Anyway, much more could be said about these ‘Watchers’ also known as the ‘Nephilim’ and to the secular world they are known as ‘Aliens’. In fact, they go by many different names depending of the culture. Just googling “Ancient Astronauts” “Star gods” “Anunnaki” will bring up a wealth of information about these ancient visitors. In fact, almost every ancient culture shares the same kind of story about “Star gods” coming down and creating mankind! This is called “Panspermia”.
The book of Genesis says that we are created in the image of God – a monotheistic God! But it does go on to talk about the sons of God coming down and copulating with the daughters of men!
There is no question mysticism and superstition, which modern science was supposed to have eliminated has made a comeback in Great Britain. The shops in Glastonbury were filled with spiritual paraphernalia which would make one think we had returned to the pagan past.
At the core of these resurrected ideas was the basic belief in evolution. Man, according to the "new spirituality" is on the verge of taking a giant leap of evolution. "Space brothers" or "spiritual guides" who it is believed have evolved to a "higher lever," are waiting for us to make the leap. Meanwhile, worldly intellects are encouraged to spend their time practicing yoga, humming mantras or rubbing crystals. There are many ways to contact the "gods."
What didn’t surprise me is that the human evolutionary paradigm leads humanity towards mystical evolution. From my own research on evolution there is a growing question of intelligent design. The thing is science does point to some sort of intelligent design and more evolutionists are finding this fact harder to deny. But for those who refuse to believe in the biblical account of creation they are left with the question of intelligent design. How did we all get here?
Professor Richard Dawkins in the following youtube explains the possibility of “ID”. An outside intelligence that may come in the form of a very early cosmic civilisation which has possibly seeded this earth.
Yet, he still admits that these earliest civilisations [of which we have no proof] have come about through Darwinian evolution! One has to wonder about how the earlier space brothers were seeded? And round and round we go! This doesn’t answer the question about how we all got here, but merely pushes the question further back to an inconceivable time. Oh dear!
What I reckon is going to happen is that we will have space brothers visit on a mass scale of which no-one can deny they exist. But these space brothers are waiting for humanity to be primed and ready for this visitation. Sounds a little too weird hey?

Jacques Vallée [he has been studying UFOs for more that 50 years. In the film ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ the character of the french scientist played by François Truffaut was modelled after Jacques Vallée] has written a book called ‘Messengers of Deception’ in which he writes possible global scenario. One Amazon reviewer says…

After the flood there was an explosion of advancements within a short period of time.

I haven’t done a ‘Red Flag’ post in awhile, so here you go, a ‘Red Flag’ post!!!
There is a you-tube from ‘The Glory Generation’ of the new names and faces from the ”New Apostolic Reformers’. Familiar names like John Crowder, Patricia King, Bob Jones and others are part of this ‘New Glory Generation’. Just looking through their web-site it is very apparent to me that this crowd are dressing up mysticism and occultism and calling it Christian. They of course are latest leaders and teachers who are ushering in a kingdom of mysticism, gnosticism, occultism and Catholicism [just check out this post from Carla and follow the links, you will see the Catholic connection]. As Carla has pointed out, this is all about, trances, levitation, fits, interior prayer [just google 'interior castle' and 'Lectio Divina'] and other mystical experiences; its roots are all based occultism and eastern religions.
According to John Crowder in his book ‘The Ecstasy of Loving God’, is that we are created for pleasure and that today the world is being shaken out of natural perception and into a highly awakened awareness of things yet unseen – the meta-reality. Angelic encounters, Jesus visitations and bizarre miracles are to be expected as this New Kingdom is awakened. This type thinking is intricately woven right through this ‘Glory Generation and New Apostolic Reformation’.
Interestingly, John Crowder has a bit of a dig at Rick Warren and the purpose-driven church when he writes…God will not have for Himself a purpose-driven Church, but a spirit-driven one…He is looking for lovers, not do-gooders. Then he throws in some Kabala teaching when he says…people are being caught up in the Spirit today, who have access back through the fiery seraphim who guard the ‘tree of life’. He speaks about the ancient paths of Eden and about the New Wine and Standing in the Gap. He says that a revolution on the rise and that the face of Christianity is going to change. That we the Church must bring the Kingdom of Heaven down to earth! [Yet the bible says that complete opposite. It is not the Church that brings in the Kingdom but Christ at his second coming will bring it and He will rule the earth from Jerusalem for 1000 years. Christ says that His Kingdom is not of this world]
For this mystic Kingdom to be released Crowder says that there must be a generation of prophetic seers — he obviously assumes that he is one of them, and I actually think that he is just one of the many that will infiltrate the Church. These seers supposedly live suspended between the earth and sky. He believes that visionary seers will be caught up in this state for weeks at a time in what he calls ’spiritual sojourns’. Then he speaks of ‘Open Visions’ of Jesus [google that]. He says that followers of Wicca, New Age, and the Occult are being challenged in the streets in radical power much like Elijah was in the bible. HE ADMITS THAT!
He writes that Angelic Encounters will happen all the more, and where it is not happening there will be ‘Frameworks’ put in place that will allow this to happen! One wonders what kind of ‘Frameworks’ he is speaking about, it is a question worth asking yourself.
He speaks about God birthing people into war zones as Heaven invades the earth! This brings to mind the scriptures of spiritual warfare and how we don’t battle against the flesh…
Eph 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
He writes that soon there will be a ‘Corporate Trance’ that will be required to press into the areas God is calling His Church. He speaks that before Christ returns in the natural, His glory is to return to the Church in Spirit. This is a common New Age idea, which has its roots in the occult. Jesus is often called the ‘Cosmic Christ Consciousness’ within the New Age circles. This is called ‘over spiritualization’ of the scripture.

Perhaps never in the history of the Christian church has this question been more relevant than it is today. One reason for this is that New Agers have taken the New Testament sculpture (if you will) of Christ, crafted an esoteric/mystical chisel, and hammered away at this sculpture until a completely new image has been formed.
The new sculpture is one that fits nicely on a display shelf with sculptures of Buddha, Krishna, and other “holy men.” This Christ is broad-minded and nonjudgmental. He is a “Master” among “Masters,” who – with the others – is leading the human race into a New Age of enlightenment and harmony.
Jesus Christ will come again in glory. In contrast with the New Age idea that the coming of Christ is contingent on man’s ability to prepare the earth spiritually for this coming, Scripture says that Christ is coming as King of kings and Lord of lords, and man has power neither to invoke His coming nor to prevent it (Rev. 19:16). The phrase “King of kings and Lord of lords” emphasizes His supreme sovereignty and authority over mortal, weak man.[source]

The new doctrines arising out of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) have much to do with a theology of the spirituality of the land. Among these newly concocted heresies are: Portals or open heavens Prayer marches, prayer walking and Labyrinths Prayer circles Spiritual mapping Identificational repentance Confronting the powers and principalities Alignment Etc. Each one of these new NAR doctrines, and the accompanying practices and methodologies, are not located in the Scriptures. So Pentecostal Word of Faith charismatics, since these are BOTH anointed true prophets of God bringing fresh wine and new oil – or is it fresh oil and new wine – how can they both be right? Well, for one, it is obvious that NONE OF THESE PEOPLE GIVE TWO CENTS ABOUT JOHN MCCAIN OR JOE BIDEN! So maybe Barack Obama will win, ask Joe Biden to step down, and make Sarah Palin his vice president? Or maybe it is that ALL OF THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS, FRAUDS, AND FALSE PROPHETS THAT ARE GOING TO DO FLOATING BELLYFLOPS INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE?!?!
The question of how did we get here is a burning question. Naturalism – Spontaneous Generation does not answer every question, it just pushes the question further away for a bit — a very long bit! Knowing that the scientific question cannot adequately answer the question “Why is there anything at all?” According to Cosmic Ancestry, “Why is there intelligent life?” has noted that this is another question that science cannot answer.

This is an important article looking through a biblical lens, a must read for those of us who are trying to understand this phenomena from a Christian view point. What Gary writes is biblically supported first and foremost.
So what are we to think?
It should be remembered that everyone who can reason will develop a worldview, and most people’s worldviews are underpinned by where they think they came from. I.e. if one thinks that God is Creator then it is likely that person will view the world and their existence with a Bible-centered worldview. However, if one believes that all life on Earth is the result of the chance random processes of evolution, then that belief system is applied to observations made in the universe around them. So if you believe that life evolved on Earth by chance then you would probably believe it possible, even likely, that life also evolved elsewhere in this incredibly enormous universe. As I showed time and again in my book Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection, this pre-belief in extraterrestrial life is the dominant factor in people’s perceptions of what unidentified flying objects (UFOs) really are. In most cases, strange lights and objects are seen and interpreted as alien craft due to their beliefs in evolution combined with the modern cultural conditioning that the majority of population has received from the media, which has an obsession with extraterrestrial life (see also Evolution and the science of fiction).
Further, Gary Bates doesn’t write of UFO/Alien experiences, but asks an important question…
The question then remains, what are they? I do believe that there is something sinister about many such events. These sightings often display supernatural characteristics rather than natural ones, and our only reliable source of information about the supernatural realm is the Bible. Mitchell’s forays into the occult and New Age are certainly consistent with the associations of many such UFO-alien enthusiasts.
Yesterday I went into my local Koorong Christian bookstore, sure enough in a section called ‘Spirit filled living’ were books that were decisively New Age and Mystic.

Please note that Crowder is part of the Elijah List ministry and these so called apostolic prophets are nothing more than charlatans masquerading as Christians. I was reading an interview with a man by the name of Jacques Vallée who is noted as being a Heretic among Heretics inside the UFO field of study. The reason behind his being called this is because he says that UFOs may not always be the nuts and bolts kinda thing that scientists can measure. He says that they show sings of a paranormal, psychological phenomena and this needs to be studied and understood as well. He has been studying UFOs for more that 50 years. In the film ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ the character of the french scientist played by François Truffaut was modelled after Jacques Vallée.

Jacques Vallée: This is still a little-known aspect of the sightings because most investigators don’t probe into this area, either for lack of background in parapsychology, or simply because they think they already know the answer, and it must involve simple “nuts and bolts” spacecraft. It takes a very brave witness to bring up such experiences in the face of skeptical researchers. I don’t believe a UFO observation makes anyone “psychic,” to use the popular terminology, but the phenomenon comes in an environment of manifestations that include heightened awareness of synchronicities, paranormal sounds and lights and occasionally absurd coincidences similar to those described in the poltergeist literature.
TDG: On that note, Margaret Mead once wrote: “When we want to understand something strange, something previously unknown, we have to begin with an entirely different set of questions. What is it? How does it work? Are there recurrent regularities?” I’ve been intrigued myself with some of these “recurrent regularities” when it comes to paranormal phenomenon – in particular the strange sounds heard, although there are other things such as strange fogs, odd tastes and smells in the mouth – but find it odd that ufology research doesn’t seem to address these so much. From your own research, have you been able to identify such “recurrent regularities”, which to me would provide solid evidence that there is some sort of objective, structured phenomenon at work here? I found the link in the above quote [the strange sounds heard] to be very interesting considering what I have witnessed in regards to Kundalini within the Apostate Church. Stacey Campbell — from ElijahList Extreme Prophetic — manifested signs of a hissing snake and spins in circles, you can witness that for yourself in a recent youtube; found HERE. Also Rodney Howard Brown has manifested these sounds when speaking in tongues. I am not sure if there is a connection here, but I thought is was worth noting.

Michael Prescott emailed me to point another historical instance of the ’sounds’ of altered states. It is mentioned in the writing of Peter Kingsley, discussing techniques of the ancient Greeks for reaching altered states:

There’s one simple detail in Parmenides’ account of his journey to the underworld that’s so easy to miss. During the whole of his journey there’s no mention at all of any noise — apart from one single sound. That’s the sound the chariot makes as the daughters of the Sun draw him along: ‘the sound of a pipe’. . .
After Parmenides mentions the sound of the pipe he uses the same word again to explain how the huge doors spin open, rotating in hollow tubes or ‘pipes’. This use of the word is extraordinary. It’s the only time in the whole Greek language that it’s ever applied to doors or parts of doors, and scholars have pointed out that Parmenides must have chosen it for a particular reason: not simply to describe what the doors look like but also to give a sense of the sound they make. On his journey everything that moves has to do with the sound or the appearance of pipes. (DPW 126–127)
The word for ‘pipe’ that Parmenides keeps using is syrinx. It had a very particular spread of meanings. Syrinx was the name either for a musical instrument or for the part of an instrument that makes a piping, whistling sound — the sound called syrigmos. But there’s one aspect of these words that you have to bear in mind: for Greeks this sound of piping and whistling was also the sound of the hissing made by snakes.
It would be so simple to dismiss as totally insignificant the fact that this piping, whistling, hissing noise is the only sound Parmenides associates with his journey to another world — except for one small matter. Ancient Greek accounts of incubation repeatedly mention certain signs that mark the point of entry into another world: into another state of awareness that’s neither waking nor sleep. One of the signs is that you become aware of a rapid spinning movement. Another is that you hear the powerful vibration produced by a piping, whistling, hissing sound.
In India exactly the same signs are described as the prelude to entering samādhi, the state beyond sleep and waking. And they’re directly related to the process known as the awakening of kundalinī — of the ‘serpent power’ that’s the basic energy in all creation but that’s almost completely asleep in human beings. When it starts waking up it makes a hissing sound.

Which raises the question: who or what has such enormous, organizational God-like power?

In Part 2, below, Vallee continues this theme as he talks about his samples of “liquid sky”–the metallic debris occasionally seen ejected from flying disks. Then hold on to your propeller beanie as we depart four-dimensional time space and look at some of Vallee’s more exotic theories about the origin of UFOs. As Vallee puts it, “The UFO phenomenon exists. It has been with us throughout history. It is physical in nature and it remains unexplained in terms of contemporary science. It represents a level of consciousness that we have not yet recognized, and which is able to manipulate dimensions beyond time and space as we understand them. It affects our own consciousness in ways that we do not grasp fully, and it generally behaves as a control system.” Vallee refers to this complex system of control–which is shaping human society over the course of thousands of years–as an “interface of reality with consciousness.” It sounds a lot like Arthur C. Clarke’s science fictional theme in 2001: A Space Odyssey–an alien intelligence subtly directing the course of human development, toward mysterious ends.
In his book, Messengers of Deception, Vallee explored the rise of a new kind of religious movement throughout the world: the UFO Messiah cults, in which believers await the coming of bubble-headed saviors in saucers.

I reckon Jacques Vallée is on to something, he is coming from a secular view point but his research doesn’t discredit what many Christians think about Aliens and UFOs; that they are spiritual fallen angels and can be linked to the Nephilim found in Genesis 6.

I don’t have much time today to post heaps on this, [although whenever I say that I end up posting quite a bit!] but I just wanted to share a link with you…Sola Dei Gloria’s has a youtube on her site that you simply must watch. It is a little over four minutes long and it shows just how easily some people can sound Christian when in actual fact they are still practicing witchcraft.
I personally know that this unholy mix is true because of my salvation experience. My salvation journey wasn’t necessarily easy for me or straight forward…because of my being mixed up with a Christian Spiritualist who did exactly what Patricia King is doing in this youtube. In fact, watching this brought back many disturbing memories for me where a demonic spirit actually tried to kill me during one of my astral flights. This spirit told me that he wanted me to join him in perfect love, which of course meant I had to leave this current world. He then started to put his hands around my throat and started to strangle me in the spirit realm. I was happy for him to do that as I had fallen love with this spirit and this spirit seemed to really, really understand me…or so I thought. But for some reason, I was shocked back into my body that night. Thank the Lord for that!
It wasn’t too long after this that I had met a few other friends who were on the same occultic path as me, some were even further advanced. We weren’t bad people,we were were all very nice and quite genuine, but by the same token we were all very deceived.
Our little group had somehow found its way into a Church and thus began our journey. We had come to that fork in the road, that decision to repent of our sins and leave our old life behind to become a new creation in Christ.
But like I said…it wasn’t easy because satan put a stumbling block in the way.
The pastor of the Church we were attending heard about our small group and who our teacher-leader was and he approached us with grave concerns. The leader of our group — who was also a pastor — was a Christian spiritualist/mystic who had been excommunicated because of his practices but we didn’t know this at the time. We thought that he was a legitimate pastor of the Church and it was obvious to us that he understood us because of our occultic leanings and because of his. It was all very mixed up!
Patricia King is not too unlike the man that we took instruction from in our early days; in whom we trusted but instead led us down a path of confusion and error. This mixed up pastor laid hands upon me and prayed for me to be cleansed — when in actual fact because of his refusal to give up spiritualism and mysticism horrible things happened to me during those prayers and after. Instead I was filled with fear and uncertainty. My kundalini serpent had been stirred, I know this now, but didn’t at the time. Physically I had sparks coming from my head to his hands and something rose up within me. During that prayer and afterwards, I had the song ‘Angel by Jimi Hendrix’ play over and over in my head…

After that all I dreamt about were eyes floating around.
I had to repent and renounce all of my so called gifts that I thought were from God, but in fact were from another spiritual source. I did this in the hallway of the Church under Godly leadership and was born again that day. I felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders, and that for the first time I was cleansed by His blood. I have not lived in fear since that day, nor in uncertainty in regards to the power of the Cross and His blood.
It is important to note that the man that Patricia King is talking to had an encounter with a UFO and a beautiful angelic/alien being. Patricia King says that this UFO was a vessel from God with a message for him.
The signs and wonders seekers waiting in line under the hot Los Angeles sun for the best seats in the Galen Center got more than they bargained for. They came to USC’s sports stadium last weekend to see their hero Todd Bentley and to receive a promised impartation of God’s anointing. But what they got was a dud of a meeting inside and some unanticipated reproofs, rebukes, and exhortations on the outside.
On Saturday, July 26th, I led a small group of five people representing three ministries: Apostasy Alert, Moriel Ministries, and Lighting the Way Ministries to distribute a leaflet that documented the false teachings of Bentley that included web links for resources to assist those who believe in testing all things. We handed out 500 leaflets and also some gospel tracts disguised as 1 million dollar bills that just happen to be produced by a ministry that, unbeknownst to us, was planning their own outreach the following day.

Last week we published a number of strong statements against Lakeland by one of Peter Wagner’s ‘apostles’ named Robert Ricciardelli. For those who are not aware, Peter Wagner heads up an organization devoted to setting in place “apostles” over the church. This is known as the ‘New Apostolic Reformation’ (NAR), and it has been very controversial. I myself have never seen it as any kind of true “Reformation” – because all it seems to do is set up another level of hierarchy over the existing ones. I also question whether many of the “apostles” are true apostles – but that is another story. Suffice it to say, that Wagner runs one of the most powerful and far-reaching global networks in the Charismatic world.
“The reports he has given me are firsthand, not hearsay. I am deeply troubled, grieved and tormented at what I’m hearing. He attributes most of the anointing at Lakeland to Roy Fields (worship leader). I agree. Roy is nothing but clean and God shows up hugely when he leads worship. I can go into detail later about what is surfacing, but there are huge lapses of integrity going on… Much embellishment. Many claims have been made that simply are not true. The Charisma crew has researched it. I want to weep. My heart is breaking. For now, to be safe and for the sake of integrity, we need to stop speaking about the claimed resurrections. Three of them have been checked out with the doctors and EMTs involved and found never to have happened at all. Todd has been confronted with this and has not adjusted the numbers in his claims. Not a single one of the other claimed resurrections can be substantiated despite diligent effort to do so. Even after Stephen Strader brought it down to 13 (and even those couldn’t be substantiated) Todd ran it back up to 27 and more. Misrepresentation and embellishment!
