"2012 TEOTWAWKI". (TEOTWAWKI is an acronym for "The End of The World As We Know It.") The column was focused on secular prophecy’s confluence on the year 2012. The Mayan calendar ends on December 24, 2012 with the destruction of mankind on the earth. Nostradamus pictures the end of the world sometime in the first part of the 21st century, as does the Catholic seer, St Malachy. The Great Pyramid of Cheops contains a staircase that is said to be equal to the number of years before the end of the world. It runs out of steps at the year 2012. I don’t give extra-Biblical prophecy much credibility — but I don’t totally discount it, either. Here is why. God is omniscient, (all-knowing) whereas Satan is just a really smart created being with a plan.
In a sense, God is the Author of two Great Books — the Bible, and the Book of Creation in which we are all characters. It is in the reading of these two Books that one sees that continuity of character and style unique to God. God’s creation is ‘by the numbers’ and those numbers are as precise and necessary to the Big Picture as are the words used to describe it. The universe operates according to precise mathematical rules. Look at the sublime precision of chemistry, for example.. All the elements combine in very precise mathematical ways to produce their various compounds. Each of the elements are recorded on a valance chart — the precise number and weight of each atom can be counted and measured. Every plant has a precise number of leaves or petals, arranged in a precise order. Every living thing has a certain number of chromosomes in its cellular structure according to its design. Man has twenty-three paired chromosomes. A dog has thirty-nine. An ape has twenty-four. God uses numbers to illustrate truths — and just as often to conceal them until the appointed time. The article explains biblical numerology and and it will be in the year 2012 that the earths population will reach seven billion people…
Then we come to the number seven. The number seven is representative in Scripture of spiritual perfection.
A treaty is about to be signed to create a New World Order in December

On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN on the subject of global warming. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty that is scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.
There has been considerable debate raised about Monckton’s conclusion that the Copenhagen Treaty would cede US sovereignty. His comments appear to be based upon his interpretation of the The Supremacy Clause in the US Constitution (Article VI, paragraph 2). This clause establishes the Constitution, Federal Statutes, and U.S. TREATIES as the supreme law of the land. Concerns have been raised in the past that a particularly ambitious treaty may supersede the US Constitution. In the 1950s, a constitutional amendment, known as the Bricker Amendment, was proposed in response to such fears, but it failed to pass. Lord Monckton served as a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educate the public about the myth of global warming.
My last post was about the possibility of Alien Disclosure from President Obama. Now, I prefaced that post with a caution to be discerning which I hope you will do.
Listening further to the interview between Art Bell and Dr. Stephen Greer, Greer spoke about what you should do if you come across a close encounter of the third kind. He said that you should not panic, meditate and centre yourself into a non-locality consciousness and what he means by that is that you can learn how to centre your consciousness into a universal constant. I bet that sounds familiar to those of you who have been researching the emerging church movement??? He goes on to say that you must to this to invite them to come over and open up a spirit of dialogue!

So… yep, this is a spiritual thing. He then goes on to say that you can purchase materials on his website that will help you learn how to get into this deep meditative state so that you can invite these Aliens in and have what he calls an CE5 encounter; a close encounter of the fifth kind.

Now… with all the centering prayer and meditation that is going on in the Church and with the UFOlogists doing the same thing and trying to connect with a something that is inter-dimensional, does this not concern you??? Think about how the whole environmental crusaders would be willing to listen to possible answers that help this planet clean up. Are we being primed to accept something that is super-spiritual in nature? Has the bible spoke about this? I believe the bible has. And what is says is that there will be a strong delusion sent by God Himself…

Why is this sent?
Because they don’t love the truth that would save them!
What is that truth?
Love of the truth — not merely love of truth, but love of THE truth (and of, Jesus who is the Truth, in opposition to Satan’s “lie,” 2Th 2:9, 2Th 2:11; Joh 8:42-44), can save (Eph 4:21). We are required not merely to assent to, but to love the truth (Psa 119:97).

Interestingly, the whole energy crisis is part and parcel of this whole disclosure plan. Meetings are taking place concerning the continuation of burning fossil fuels and how this is destroying our earth. In these meetings they speak about extra-terrestrial technologies that would put a stop to all of that. Advanced technology from unusual sources has happened before. In the days of Noah the sons of God visited and pro-created with the daughters of man. They produced the Nephilim.
Gen 6:4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.
Notice that it says that the Nephilim were on the earth during the days of Noah and also after that.
These Nephilim/Watchers according to the book of Enoch also gave rise to great technical advancement on the earth before the great flood. This time was of a “Great Awakening” for humanity.
Another Christian author has come to the same conclusion that these ‘Aliens’ are demonic forces, the same forces found in Genesis 6…
UFOs are real, they’re just not from outer space. So says Chuck Missler in his informative book, Alien Encounters: The Secret Behind the UFO Phenomenon. Missler is convinced that the alleged aliens publicized these days are demonic forces, and equates them convincingly with the angels that co-habited with women in Genesis 6. Anyway, much more could be said about these ‘Watchers’ also known as the ‘Nephilim’ and to the secular world they are known as ‘Aliens’. In fact, they go by many different names depending of the culture. Just googling “Ancient Astronauts” “Star gods” “Anunnaki” will bring up a wealth of information about these ancient visitors. In fact, almost every ancient culture shares the same kind of story about “Star gods” coming down and creating mankind! This is called “Panspermia”.
The book of Genesis says that we are created in the image of God – a monotheistic God! But it does go on to talk about the sons of God coming down and copulating with the daughters of men!

Revelation 13:17 states “And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.”
In the most profound financial change in recent Middle East history, Gulf Arabs are planning – along with China, Russia, Japan and France – to end dollar dealings for oil, moving instead to a basket of currencies including the Japanese yen and Chinese yuan, the euro, gold and a new, unified currency planned for nations in the Gulf Co-operation Council, including Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Qatar.
Secret meetings have already been held by finance ministers and central bank governors in Russia, China, Japan and Brazil to work on the scheme, which will mean that oil will no longer be priced in dollars.

These physical manifestations are outlined in Luke:

I have been learning from Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries for over ten years now. The one thing that I’m forever grateful is for the teaching on Midrash and its applications. You can see cyclical biblical patterns and glean from them and see that they foreshadow what will happen before Christ comes again.
The first time I ever went to see Jacob Prasch speak I was introduced to this and I was absolutely floored! I basically had a light bulb moment right there sitting in this old inner city Church of about 20 or so people. Now, whenever I read my bible I completely understand that it is truly the living word even for us today. Understanding patterns and typology has opened a whole new dimension for me and the depth of this is quite staggering.
Jacob Prasch points out that if you want to know what happens in the ‘last days’ Church then read what happened to the first Church outlined in the New Testament. He also said that certain biblical prophecy has been fulfilled yet it recapitulates towards the ultimate fulfillment. Using this type of methodology you can actually be a preterist and a futurist at the same time.

One of the repeated teachings at Moriel is that prophecy is not so much about the fulfillment of specific events at a specific pre-set date and time as much as it is really patterns which repeat themselves, growing ever stronger until their last, ultimate fulfillment. That is why a lot of what we understand about Christ’s Second Coming is foreshadowed – a pattern – revealed during His First Coming. Learning as much as we can about His First Coming teaches a great deal about how things will ultimately take place at His Second Coming. And I have a very strong suspicion that we are seeing some of these things taking place right now. The religious authorities of the day knew Scripture so well that without hesitation they answered the Magis’ question about the Messiah, but like many today, they were completely blind to actually seeing it take place. Just posting this for my own studies. Calvin has asked me if I can show if Israel is gathered first in unbelief. I believe that scripture says that it is indeed the case.
The Book of Ezekiel containsa number of prophecies that indicate that Israel would be regathered in a stateof unbelief. Ezekiel 36:24-28 reveals that the temporal and logical order ofIsrael’s return in the process of restoration:
24For I will take you from the nations, and Iwill gather you from the lands, and Iwill bring you back into your Land. 25Then I will sprinkle on you clean water, and you will beclean; I will purify you from all your defilement and from all your idols. 26I will give you a new heart and put withinyou a new spirit, and I will remove the stony heart from your flesh and giveyou a fleshy heart; 27and I will put MySpirit within you and cause you to walk in my decrees, and you will faithfullyobey my laws. ‘28And you will dwell inthe Land which I gave to your forefathers; and you will be My people, and Iwill be your God (author’s translation).
Note that in this passagethe regathering is first physical (tothe Land), verse 24, and then spiritual (to the LORD), verses 25-28. Therefore, the initial return to the Landmust necessarily be in a state of unbelief since in the Land Israel is changedfrom a state of unbelief to a state of belief. The prophetic chronology ofthese events are given in Ezekiel 20:33-38.

Eze 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Not sure if you know this, but Calvin L Smith has his own personal blog and has been busily putting together many posts on the subject that interests him at the moment. That interest is about Israel and her prophetic role for today. He also does an excellent job in discussing the New Supersessionists in his book which you can find HERE.
Anyway, he has written quite a few posts on this often heated debate regarding Israel and is just itching for some feedback!
In this particular post he starts with the historical Church and her reaction to 2nd century Judaism…
The Church’s reaction to anti-Christian Judaism in the second century caused it to emphasise some aspects of the canonical narrative at the expense of others. In short, the New Testament was elevated and the Old Testament relegated. Naturally, this demotion of the Jewish Scriptures also downgraded the theological importance of Israel, which features so prominently in the Old Testament. Soulen refers to this relegation of Israel as “structural supercessionism” (supercessionism, also known as replacement theology, is the theological position which argues that the Church has superceded Israel as the people of God). Soulen also identifies other forms of supercessionism (economic and punitive) in his book.
[…]My own position focuses on and traces the Jewish people as a biblical theology theme, rather than the land. As such, this focus on people not land permits me, theoretically at least, to entertain the possibility of exchanging some land for peace. [source]
I have been over to his site to comment that is waiting for approval, but I have to ask him…
So, I am wondering if you [Calvin] think that the current gathering of Jews into Israel the land is not currently fulfilling biblical prophecy? Or are they being gathered in unbelief ready to be judged because of their unbelief?
The way I see it, they have been returning to their promised land for a purpose, not because they deserve it. Perhaps that purpose is to drive them back to Mosaic Judaism which in turn will teach them about the fulfilment found only in their Messiah Jesus. The judgement of their unbelief is outlined in Zech 13:
Zec 13:7 "Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me," declares the LORD of hosts. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones. Zec 13:8 In the whole land, declares the LORD, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive. Zec 13:9 And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’"
On a side note in verse 7 the ESV says that God will turn His hand against the little ones… yet in other translations it says "upon" a big difference depending on how you read it.
Anyway, I think that the Hand of God is "upon" these little ones, perhaps referring to those who are the true Israel, the remnant.

After the fire and persecution/judgement it does say that they will call upon God’s name and they will be His people and He will be their God.
This is when All Israel will be saved, right?
I can’t wait for him to answer and perhaps then I can try and understand the prophetic time table more!
A number of countries, including China and Russia, have suggested replacing the dollar as the world’s reserve currency
The dollar should be replaced with a global currency, the United Nations has said, proposing the biggest overhaul of the world’s monetary system since the Second World War.
Scott Brisk has put together an important “Be Alert” which shows us that biblical prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. He has found so many articles and links showing that the Jewish people are being drawn together.
But we have to realise that the purpose of them being drawn together is so that they will believe their Messiah in whom they have long awaited for is in fact Yeshua/Jesus Christ.
Before this happens though, they must be brought back into their land to be judged. That time is called Jacob’s trouble…
Isa 11:10-12 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting-place shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, that shall remain, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Jer 30:3-9 For, lo, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And these are the words that Jehovah spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child: wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds; and strangers shall no more make him their bondman; but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

The title of this alert comes from a commentary by Nick Cohen published back in February called “Hatred is turning me into a Jew”. This commentary appears about half way down this edition of Be Alert!
What struck me immediately when reading this is how The Word of The LORD is coming true and so few know or understand it. Through the worldwide hatred of the Jewish People, God is drawing them together, back to their heritage and back to their land. God prophesied all this thousands of years ago in intricate details. Now more Jewish People are coming to believe in their Messiah Yeshua than ever before. Indeed, they need to before the time of Jacob’s trouble when the Bible tells us that two thirds of all Jewish people will be killed before Christ returns. This is terrible but the truth that must be told.
Indeed His return is very near.
Additionally, our president, our country and increasingly much of the church are turning against Israel. This is something the Lord does not take lightly and judgment has always come upon those who have turned against Israel.
We are indeed living in those days that Christ spoke about, just before His return. Let us keep close to His Word, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that His ancient people receive their Yeshua as their Messiah.

The situation is now so grave in America, that some military experts believe that there is a high potential that America could be under Martial Law through a “planned crisis.” For those who might think those words are “extreme,” they are shared by some of the highest ranking members of the armed forces. Many Christians in America who are both ill informed and do not read their Bible, lack the intellectual and spiritual discernment necessary to understand what is happening, not only in the U.S, but other nations in the world. Much of Evangelicalism in America has surrendered to what could only be called false prophecy and the apostasy of the Emergent Church. The American Church is very similar to the German churches in Nazi, Germany who were seduced by Hitler because they had already embraced the theology of the German School’s of Higher Criticism.
In addition, it appears America has turned its back on Israel opening itself up to the curse of the Abrahamic Covenant “Those that bless Israel I will bless and those the curse Israel I will curse.” I was speaking to one expert on Islam who told me that al Qaeda is “drugging America” in order to disarm them, but that suicides bombers killing themselves in dozens of U.S. shopping malls or worse could happen. Britain has already been warned of a spectacular October surprise by al Qaeda.

In fact I have just finished watching John Higgins speak about Daniel chapter 9. He speaks about Israel and her Diaspora and why that actually happened. I will give you a hint… Israel broke two very important commandments. It’s quite an in depth study and one has to know the bible pretty well to be able to follow that particular sermon. Other sermons are not so in depth but are edifying to say the least.
One of my favourites in particular is by Jacob Prasch called “The book of Ruth”… in fact I love that book! If you are a gentile believer, listening to this sermon will give you a special insight [midrash] as to what this particular book really says to the Church today. Love that one!!!
Anyway… I have to go, Oliver, my grandson is getting sick of being in his jolly jumper and he needs some TLC!
A very good and reputable friend of mine sent me an email today with a link provided. The link was to an article found at the “Omega Letter”. It addressed lying within politics. I actually spent some time putting together an article with references and such but I decided to delete it.
But after going over to the Moriel site I found that the issue is worth blogging about…
The recent shockwaves of public frustration, coming out of town hall meetings across the nation[I have found a youtube on it!], have stunned both the media and elected representatives from both parties. It has become increasingly obvious that they don’t know what’s going on. The real problem is more than mere politics, and goes much deeper than the healthcare issue. The real problem is spiritual.
This is a conflict between the traditional American vision of personal responsibility, private property, productivity, individualism, and self-government, as opposed to the new vision -”change”- i.e.: collectivism, cradle to grave government “compassion”, equality of outcomes, leadership by an elite anointed class, and yes the “S” word – (Socialism).
One could almost liken it to a clash of two revolutions, the American Revolution and its Judeo Christian ideals, and the failed promise of the Atheistic French Revolution, of ”liberty, equality, and brotherhood”.
It is spiritual on the level that those who drink deeply of the original vision of the Founders, of a self-governing nation, based upon personal responsibility, merit, respect for private property, and individualism are partaking of a Christian vision of life. Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. God is God, not government.
Those who have mainlined on the vision of the left, of an all-sufficient government, cradle to grave care, collectivism, larger than life, personality cult leadership, equality of all outcomes, etc., whatever faith they may profess, are imbibing an Atheistic vision of “the good”. There is no God, but Government. How can there be any reconciliation between the two?

In Friday’s OL, we discussed the presidential contention that AARP had endorsed his health care plan. AARP promptly issued a statement denying the endorsement. At the daily press briefing, spokesman Robert Gibbs dismissed it by saying the president ‘misspoke.’
That strategy requires the mainstream media to stay in the tank for Obama without breaking ranks to tell the truth. Think about that for a minute. The entire strategy is one based on being able to tell provable, known and deliberately repeated lies without worrying about being exposed by a pet White House press corps.
These are not accidental lies; nor are they inconsequential lies. To a senior who only gets their news from one of the network nightly news broadcasts, (old habits die hard) the fact that the health care plan is endorsed by AARP is sufficient to get their support for it.
Obama knows it isn’t a fact — but they don’t –AND he knows that Katie Couric or Brian Williams aren’t going to correct him. So he repeats the lie, even after being corrected, betting that only those paying close attention will know — and they’ve already been marginalized as a ‘mob’.
Obama knows that claiming he ‘misspoke’ twice on the same topic wouldn’t fool my father. Or very many of his generation. The first time might be an accident. The second time is deliberate. So the only alternative understanding is that he doesn’t care. And he doesn’t.
The disrespect that Obama has for the American people borders on open contempt. Those who disagree with him are demonized and marginalized and insulted and disrespected as unAmerican, dishonest partisans who are all card-carrying Republicans or right wing conservatives.
The author above also speculates how the foundation stones are being laid for a full on One World Currency and a New Socialist World Order. This does not surprise me…
This is where we’re heading . . . the stimulus bill, cap and trade, the government takeover of key industries, the monetizing of the debt, the trillion dollar printing press and now control over one sixth of the nation’s economy — health care — clearly the intent is to destroy the dollar.
The only logical reason is so that a new currency can be imposed to replace the dollar, which is already transparently worthless. It’s been over-collateralized to the point where nobody wants to risk holding anymore US debt.
And since the majority of US debt is held by countries like China and Russia, nobody can afford a US default.
That only leaves one alternative to total, global economic collapse. A new currency backed by more than the old one is. The Amero would have been backed by the inclusion of the Mexican and Canadian economies, plus their abundant natural resources, but public opposition has put that plan on hold, if it hasn’t killed it altogether.
Anyway, those of you who know biblical prophecy would not be surprised at the way in which governments are changing the world.
For over twenty years I have read many books that explain that for an anti-Christ kingdom to be set up economics must be controlled by the government. Religions too, must be controlled via offence laws. This is exactly what we see happening today! For the anti-Christ to have full power over the whole globe economically and religiously this must happen – CONTROL!!! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out!
This is just too important not to blog about. I am even going to RED FLAG this post!!!
A Muslim whose name isAdnan Oktar, who uses the pen name of Harun Yahya, is a controversial but highly influential Muslim intellectual and author with over 65 million of his books in circulation worldwide. Oktar recently met with three representatives from the re-established Jewish Sanhedrin, a group of 71 Orthodox rabbis and scholars from Israel, to discuss how religious Muslims, Jews and Christians can work together.
What was said is absolutely mind boggling…
Oktar has also stated that the Temple of Solomon "will be rebuilt and all believers will worship there in tranquility." During his meeting with the Sanhedrin rabbis, Oktar expressed his belief that the Temple could be rebuilt in one year:
It could be done in a year at most. It could be built to the same perfection and beauty. The Torah says it was built in 13 years, if I remember correctly. It could be rebuilt in a year in its perfect form.
And this too…!!!
The vision of God’s Holy Mountain may not be all that far off. The Obama administration has also suggested that Jerusalem could become an international city that would be shared by peoples from all three Abrahamic faiths.
Even the Knesset is getting in on the discussion. Members of the Israeli Knesset gathered together last week with several Jewish scholars to discuss the role of the Jewish Temple in Jewish life. Referring to those Muslims who do not acknowledge the Jewish history of the Temple Mount, Dr. Mordechai Keidar stated, "The struggle for Jerusalem is not territorial, it is theological. … Do we give in to the Muslim claim that Judaism is no longer relevant?"

Because I have already blogged about them a while back and what I found out is almost impossible to believe! The Noahide Laws of the Bnei Noah allows for BEHEADING those who do not follow their seven laws!!! Does this sound vaguely familiar to you???

I too, have wondered about these laws and have found it interesting that the Temple has to be rebuilt in order for these laws to come into effect. For this to happen there is the problem of the Dome of the Rock. But this is not so much of a problem when you consider that the Dome of the Rock can stay just where it is, and be classed as the court of Gentiles according to Prof. Joseph Patrich who got back to me with an email and said this… It is outside the temple court, but still within the screen barring gentile entrance.

This topic as most others concerning the end times has become more difficult to follow as events have sped up in recent times as the return of Christ grows closer. As I have stated on many occasions previously, it used to be that incidents of significance happened on a much more limited basis. Now they seem to be happening on a daily if not hourly pace at times. The problem with this is that all we know (at the specific moment) is that all the prophesied players are in place and in a state of motion, but the significance does not immediately come to light. We can look back at the division of the biblical land of Israel in 1947 by Britain and the UN (by UN resolution 181) before it’s rebirth on May 14, 1948 and see a incredible and direct fulfillment of Joel 3:2, and the rebirth itself was a direct fulfillment of Isaiah 66:8. However, with today’s fast paced events it can be nearly impossible to decipher what is substantial or critical towards understanding biblical prophecy and what is just background noise or worse, outright deception. The cliché comes to mind, ‘you can’t see the forest for the trees’. I pray this collection of articles will help to keep you abreast of the some of the latest affairs of the Middle East and as always prayerfully go before the Lord as ask Him to guide you by His Spirit with all wisdom and knowledge on how you might minister to others and keep your lamps filled with oil and shinning as the night draws near. It is clear from the articles posted in the newsletter that Jerusalem really is the stumbling block to all nations. Should this surprise us? NO! God Himself said that all nations will find Jerusalem to be a big problem! And once again, God and His Word is right…
Zechariah 12:2-3 "Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. "It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.
This is just one of many prophecies concerning this little piece of real estate.
Scott also makes an astute observation about how many Christians are completely unaware about the prophetic significance that Israel plays today. In fact, as the social/humanitarian gospel marches forward the less Israel is even considered to be important in the prophetic way at all! Which makes sense really… when you think about this world what mankind can do to fix it globally via humanitarian efforts – including the humanitarian Church — Israel is a BIG problem! A thorn in the side so to speak.
But we must remember that the gospel is something that saves us from our sin! The bible outlines the salvific message for mankind. Christ lived and died so that we may have eternal life!

Anyway, this post is not about the social/humanitarian gospel and its shortcomings, but concerns itself with Israel and Jerusalem; the stumbling block to the whole world! [I have quite a few posts addressing this issue that can be found HERE]

This alert is, as much as possible, is a comprehensive overview of recent happenings concerning the most important nation ever in the history of mankind, Israel. That is not my opinion, but fact because the Word of God declares it. Most of the world, and even more startlingly, most professing Christians deny this. How can this be when the whole context and content of Scripture point to God working through this nation? It is actually not that surprising when this same world and majority of professing ‘Christians’ are blinded from understanding that same Word of God that declares from start to finish the saving gospel of grace by faith in His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man and fully an ethnic Hebrew, also known as Yeshua Ha Mochiach (Jesus the Messiah).
As you may or may not know, the Temple Institute has already made several items for the Third Temple. Just google it and you will find a wealth of information.
Today I came across some more information about the Third Temple. The Temple Institute has begun to build the alter that will reside inside the Third Temple….

Temple Altar Construction Begins on Day of Destruction
The Temple Institute began work on the sacrificial altar Thursday, Tisha B’av, the day the Second Temple was destroyed almost 2,000 years ago.
The Temple Institute has already built several of the Temple vessels such as the Ark and the menorah, and has now embarked on an ambitious project to build the altar, which will ultimately measure 3 meters wide by 3 meters long and 2 meters tall.
During Thursday’s ceremony, which took place in Mitzpe Yericho just east of Jerusalem, the Temple Institute laid the cornerstone for the altar and demonstrated how tar will be used to cement the stones together. The Institute plans on bringing the altar to its proper place on the Temple Mount when the Temple is rebuilt.
“Today, Tisha B’av, is not just a time to mourn the destruction of the Temple,” said Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the head of the Temple Institute. “It is also a time to build.”
Rabbi Ariel thanked the more than 100 people who came to the event despite their fasting for Tisha B’Av, and despite the hot weather. The main force behind the construction of the altar, Yonaton Tzadok, was also on hand to explain why its stones were taken straight from the Dead Sea.
“The altar is supposed to represent going back to our roots, to the time of creation when everything was pure,” he said. “We took rocks from the Dead Sea, where it is likely that they were never touched by human hands.”
During the ceremony, many people who came to watch were surprised when they were invited to take part and pour tar onto the cornerstones. Rabbi Ariel first asked if there were any Kohanim (priests) in the crowd, and asked them start. When a woman requested to join in, Rabbi Ariel said “of course” and emphasized that women are commanded to build the Temple as well.
With the sun setting, Tzadok asked for volunteers to come back another day to help build the altar. “Carrying rocks and pouring tar is a lot of work,” he said. “We could use a few hundred people to help.” More information on the Temple Institute is available at http://www.templeinstitute.org/main.htm.
