Aleph in Silence — Why?

Well … this is one of my attempts at writing Aleph with my new WACOM pen. After many hours of frustration this is what I have come up with so I am sure I will get more proficient as I learn more ( I am really hoping for that!). It is a lot harder than I thought. My own handwriting looks pretty bad when I use this pen, and I hope it will improve. I am struggling my way through Adobe Photo-shop and this is what I have come up with. Not even sure how I did it!!

Anyway, I said I was going to tell you a little more about Aleph

alephfire.gifI have read some things about Aleph and the silence of the letter. This does have significance when you think of Christ being humbled and silent against His accusers. The vav ( which you may recall has the numerical equivalent of 6 and therefore represents man) is described as being humbled in the face of God’s mystery ( that being the upper yod) and that is why it is diagonal — I hope my vav is humble enough? So, again we know that Christ was humble and can be represented here by the vav — and the silence of the letter also points to when Christ was silent when being accused.
The Aleph also points to a tri-unity because although it is numerically ‘1’ it has three parts to it. aleph-p3.gifThis I have read recently and I am yet to get to the other parts of the Aleph (being Aleph, Lamed and Pey) because the Aleph is made of three parts being the gematria of the word Aleph is 111 (Aleph=1, Lamed=30, and Pey=80). The Lamed and Pey are also in the Hebrew Alpha-bet and I will get to them in due course.

So, for now that is what I have learnt.

  1. This response wants to tell yuo that in these words of yours lies truths of “maniac” jewish settings. The living aleph is not to be put into a box without the knowledge of Quabbalah. To use the word as God’s word- here in the form of aleph, was their philosophy to put God’s might into a letter box containing what you want to know. But I can understand that you are searching to understand ancient jewish bravoury. This is of good.
But you cannot find God in a box, you do find him in you. You are his living temple- you can be at his service without understanding his intellect through studying His art of using letters.

  2. I believe that Christ is the only way to salvation. You can only find God through His Word and His Word is clear about a Messiach ben Yoseph/Messiah ben David who is to come and save and offer redemption. Messiach ben Yoseph has come and now we wait for Messiach ben David. One Messiach, two comings.

I have found this information from a Christian site which teaches you Hebrew and its various nuances and idioms that may help in understanding Jewish thought, concepts and culture.

In every way I try to point to Messiach Yeshua as being the fulfillment of Gods Word first and foremost.

Anything after that is a matter of interest but not so important to make doctrine out of.

    Thanks for your comment
