Okay, I had better write something about the recent events in the US. It seems that just over half of America wanted another 4 years of Obama… and the whole world has its own opinion regarding this re-election.
Though leaders of Hungary and other Central and Eastern European countries later congratulated Mr. Obama on his re-election, celebrations were overshadowed by concerns.
Russia’s growing influence
Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Tibor Navracsics said he hopes the president will focus more on Hungary and other countries that were occupied for decades by Soviet Union forces, amid worries about the growing influence of Russia. [source]Russian President Putin and President Chavez of Venezuela are both communistsAND BOTH HAVE CLOSE TIES WITH IRAN. Hussein O told Putin he would be more
flexible in his 2nd term. Chavez nationalized the media in his country– a distinct trait of communist rulers(BTW, Chavez was ELECTED just like Hussein O was ELECTED.) & Hussein O nationalized GM in his country (you know which country that is, the one that USED to be governed by the people). Well, if it walks like a duck, governs like a duck, then it must be a duck.COMMUNIST ENDORSEMENTS INCLUDE CUBA’S CASTRO!
The latest [dictator] to publicly announce his support for the commander-in-chief’s reelection bid was Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, who this week assured he’d vote for Obama if he were from the United States. The America-bashing strongman made the announcement on state-owned television, saying “Obama is a good guy” and that if Obama was from Caracas, he’d surely return the favor by voting for Chavez. ”You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands.” — Nikita Khrushchev

But what about Israel, how do they feel about it?
TEL AVIV — The state of Israel will not capitulate before President Obama, whose “naive” leadership has hurt the U.S., stated Danny Danon, deputy speaker of Israel’s Knesset.
Danon, a Knesset member from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud party, was reacting to the reelection of Obama.
Danon told KleinOnline: “Obama’s victory demonstrates that the state of Israel must take care of its own interests. We cannot rely on anyone but ourselves. Obama has hurt the United States by his naïve leadership in foreign policy, which prefers the Arab world over the Western world, along with Israel. The state of Israel will not capitulate before Obama. ” [source]
Any doubts about the political sway that is taking place here considering who backs Obama and who his administration has shafted?
These are concerning times for the world. I have read countless status updates on FB about how people feel about this. I will share some with you…
Gleaned from a friends status regarding how GREAT it is that Obama got in again…. “Yeah it is!! And they have their first gay senator too! America is moving forward in an awesome way. ”
And another “He openly supports same sex marriage, what a nice guy.”
But here are some much more wiser words from a friend (thanks DD)… “Okay I was still up and I heard the results😦 sad for you all. Though not surprised…if u saw my first post this morning. America is on its way down in the grand scheme of things. Wider Bible prophecy must take place and that includes spiralling morals, ungodliness and all the other conditions for the antichrist to arise. We also need to remember the scripture that we are a new nation once saved. First belonging to God’s kingdom above and not of this world. Persecution must increase in the west and it is a president like Obama who can tolerate and legislate issues to cause that. Jesus Christ is nearer than when we first believed. LOOK UP!”
The following is from me to two other friends of mind…
“Do you both have a sense of impending doom? I know I feel heavy with it. NOT that I thought in any way that Romney was a saviour, but perhaps his election would mean that there were some Godly people in the world. In fact, Obama’s election just is a realisation that the Holy Spirit is being quenched and that the Church is losing its saltiness. The world is going to Hell in a handbasket and I really feel that this is very close to the end of Grace for the West.
Hope this doesn’t sound too doom and gloom, but that is how I am feeling. :(“
And what about the Church? Is the Church of today reflecting a Church of the past? Well, some analysts say that it is reflecting a Church not too unlike pre-nazi Germany…
While reading the account of Mr. Bonhoeffer, a German pastor, theologian and spy who was involved in the plot to kill Hitler, I became awestruck by the obvious and stunning parallels between 1930’s Germany and present day America, specifically in terms of the Christian church. Yesterday, for the second time in four years, the majority of Americans decided in favor of Obama despite the vocal and visible moral objections made by many Christians of all denominations. I have no doubt that many people who profess to be Christians cast their vote to reelect Barack Hussein Obama, somehow justifying their vote over any moral or ethical concerns residing in their spirit. How is this possible?
Thanks to the laborious research by author Eric Metaxas that is articulately detailed in his book, which also corrects over a half-century of the hijacked legacy of Dietrich Bonhoeffer by the Progressive left, Christians in America should now fully understand exactly what is taking place within our country. We have allowed the word of God to be diluted, perverted and turned into a convoluted platform for social justice by elected leaders whose tyranny has extended into and ripped into our spiritual fabric.
As a Christian, I believe we were born for this exact moment in time, and have been selected to engage in this spiritual battle for not only our salvation, but the salvation of others. Like it or not, we have been selected as being warriors on the front lines of an epic spiritual battle.
Some might look at the reelection of Barack Hussein Obama and other leaders with similar agendas as a death knell for the Judeo-Christian spirit in America. I chose to view it as a real-world test of my Christian faith personally and our Christian faith collectively. It is clear that the spiritual battle lines have been distinctly drawn. We are now called to emulate the spiritual strength of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, so that we may change the course of Christianity in America. Unified in the spirit of costly grace, we can do it.
We must engage the battle and not abandon the fight at this historic moment in time. Traditional marriage between a man and a woman as defined by the Holy Bible must be reinforced, not redefined. The wholesale slaughter of our nation’s unborn under the demonic perversity of women’s rights must not be accepted or further tolerated. We must not submit to a system that requires us to forsake our beliefs under the color of law. Acting in the spirit of costly grace, we must summon the spiritual courage of Dietrich Bonhoeffer to change the course of our nation. [source]
Charles Spurgeon – The Prince of Preachers:
“No life can surpass that of a man who quietly continues to serve God in the place where providence has placed him.”
“GOVERNMENT has become ungovernable; that is, it cannot leave off governing. Law has become lawless; that is, it cannot see where laws should stop. The chief feature of our time is the meekness of the mob and the madness of the government.” ~GKC: ‘Eugenics and Other Evils: An Argument Against the Scientifically Organized State.’
So much more could be written about this as you all know, but I will just leave you with some biblical counsel…
Psa 75:5 Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck.
Psa 75:6 For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, cometh lifting up.
Psa 75:7 But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.
Psa 75:8 For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth; It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.
