Left Wing Political Shift. How does this affect the Church???

As you most of you are aware, there is a growing interfaith movement involving the Church and Islam (along with other religions). In fact, there is a new word coined —  Chrislam! Just check out this HUGE list of all the Churches that are hosting a Chrislam service. It’s obvious to me as well as others who are keeping up with the latest Christian news that ecumenism has led towards an interfaith movement. This movement is basically saying that there are MANY paths to god and that we should try and find the common good in all of these different religions. This of course is a very liberal idea. and it is something that will bring about a New Order of Religion. hmmmm, sounds a little prophetic to me.

Now we have left wing political domination in most of the Western countries that just want everyone to get along, which in itself is not a bad thing. But, the reality is just not well… a reality. We will always have fundamentalists within the many religions. I wonder at how many bible believing Christians will hold to the biblical teaching that Jesus is the ONLY path as this interfaith movement increases in size. I wonder what will become of those who will not bow to a religious system that is so tied in within a political/governmental system that takes away your freedom to disagree with other faiths respectfully. The good news is: God has made a way. God has paid the price, and God offers life. But God offers it on His terms!

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else. Isaiah 45:22

let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. “He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:1

The Holy Spirit will dwell in the believers (John 7:38; cf. 14:17) and will guide the disciples into all truth, the Holy Spirit (16:13), teaching them “all things” and bringing them “to remembrance of all that [Jesus] said” to them (14:26). The Holy Spirit will testify about Jesus, as the disciples must also testify (John 15:26-27).

I for one pray that I will never stray from that fundamental truth that salvation can only be found in Jesus. I pray that the Holy Spirit helps me to remain strong against such political and religious utopian moves that has become apparent in every day news.

The following is just a small example of what is happening to the apostate church…

The Church Ministry should be renamed in order to accommodate the growing population of Muslims in Denmark. This is the wish of the left wing of the Parliamentary Church Committee, said TV2 News.

Instead, Church Ministry should be renamed to Ministry of Philosophy of Life. [source]

My prayer for you us all, is that we persevere in the Truth and that we not be deceived.
