In the US there is a lot of talk about the next possible candidate for either the democrats or the republicans. As Christians we know that God allows governments to rise and fall, and that a country get’s the government that it deserves. I have just come across two articles, somewhat related that may interest some of you who graciously visit this little blog.
…naive and undiscerning Christians have looked too much to a political salvation and have usually been hoodwinked by their own lack of discernment and the manipulation of conniving politicians who use Christians then discard them until the next election.
Four years ago this week, a young and inspirational senator who promised to turn history’s page swept the Iowa caucuses and began his irresistible rise to the White House.Barack Obama was unlike any candidate the country had seen before. More than a mere politician, he became a cultural icon, “the biggest celebrity in the world,” as a John McCain ad accurately, if mischievously, described him. He was the object of near adoration among the young, launching what often felt like a religious revival. Artists poured out musical compositions devoted to his victory in a rich variety of forms, from reggae and hip-hop to the Celtic folk song. [source]

If people couldn’t see the truth behind Obama, then how on earth will they EVER see the truth behind the one who has mastered his deception, the antichrist!
