Prophecy, UN, Israel, Rick Warren and false peace…

Sorry that I haven’t posted in a long while, I have been extremely busy of late. I do have a few things that I want to share with you though that I thought you may be interested in.

Firstly, Jacob Prasch has just released a new book, YAY!!!!…

This is the companion book to “The Daniel Project” documentary.
The Daniel Project is a serious investigative documentary which puts Bible prophecy under a journalistic microscope and presents the subject in an entertaining yet challenging manner. This film does not take the path of sensationalistic hype normally associated with the likes of Nostradamus or “End Timers”, which can require great imagination to sell their conclusions to the public. Instead, it allows the prophecies to speak for themselves and leaves the audience to come to their own conclusion.

This companion book, The Daniel Factor, is written by the film’s Bible expositor Jacob Prasch, provides additional supporting information for each of the twenty prophecies specifically addressed in the film.

If this book is anything like the film, then it’s definitely worth getting. If you don’t have a kindle you can download the kindle program for your computer for free, so don’t let that stop you from purchasing this book as well as the other books that Jacob has authored. I highly recommend “The Shadows of the Beast“. That book is one of the best I have read on the subject of the antichrist.

Secondly, as the Palestinians and other states and countries gather at the UN to decide on the future of Israel, there is one country that has been very outspoken in their support for Israel. Just check this out…

“Canada will not accept or stay silent while the Jewish state is attacked for defending its territory and its citizens. The Second World War taught us all the tragic price of going along just to get along.”

During his address, the minister repeatedly warned against the dangers of appeasement and complacency in defending human rights, democracy and the rule of law, quoting such world leaders as former British prime ministers Margaret Thatcher and Winston Churchill, and U.S. president Franklin Roosevelt. Thirdly, do like debates? There is one coming up that will be very interesting. The two people who are going to debate are Calvin Smith (who I know personally and have helped with the research for his book) and Rev. Stephen Sizer. I have had a little something to do with Sizer too. He had at one time threatened me with the police because I had implied that he was an antisemite. You can read his threat to me HERE if you wish, his original threat was made on an unrelated post, but the comments that followed on this post will certainly enlighten you.  And the of course there are related posts that followed his comment that you can find HERE, just in case you are interested.

Anyways…

This debate is about Israel and what part that country and people play — if any — in God’s plan for the end of days. Go HERE to learn more about the debate. I for one cannot WAIT!

Fourthly, and staying with the whole Israel theme and Rev. Stephen Sizer, there is a film out called “With God on our Side”. This film has Rev. Sizer and others speak about Israel and what they label as the Christian right in the West and how the Christian right are dangerous in their political leanings when it comes to Israel. This film is been shown world wide and in Christian circles and is gaining a lot of interest.

Because we have a Church that has slid into a state of prophetic lethargy and has been influenced by such teachers as Rick Warren who says that the Church shouldn’t interest itself with end times prophecy — and because we have a Church that has become not only lukewarm, but sees itself as taking over the whole world with such teaching as Triumphalism and Reconstructionist theory, then is it little wonder that this said Church sees Israel as a stumbling block to world peace!?!

Those who propound these Reconstructionist views believe that the Kingdom will be restored to the Church when, in truth, the only reference to restoration of the Kingdom in the NT is in Acts 1 where it is mentioned as something to be restored to Israel (Ac. 1:6).

We must remember that as Scripture tells us, “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Rev. 19:10) [J J Prasch: Shadows of the Beast]

To learn more about this film and to understand why it’s not a scholarly piece but a bias bit of propaganda regarding Israel and the Jews (and yes, I WOULD say antisemitic!) see HERE. And if that has whet your appetite you can learn more about this film… here’s an in-depth review of the film HERE.

Speaking of Rick Warren. He, along with Tony Blair, have recently had an open forum and Roger Oakland and others from UTT attended this forum and took notes. This open forum spoke about a world that can be changed and become at peace through interfaith alliances…

At the forum, both Warren and Blair stated that the only way a global peace could happen on planet earth in the future would be for all faiths to work together and do good together. The audience at the forum appeared to be mesmerized and awe-struck as they were wooed with discussion on faith, good works, democracy, and coming together. Beneath the vernacular, however, was another story.

[…]It seems apparent that neither Rick Warren nor Tony Blair understand that their Peace Plan goals are fulfilling Bible prophecy, which speaks of a peace that is not from God but will deceive many. By appearances, the majority of the people who were attending the forum last week appeared mesmerized and awe-struck by what was being said. Do they not realize that a three legged stool (the joining together of government, business (or economy), and religion) plan will be a plan by man and not by God (see Faith Undone)? [source]

I am going to leave you with something that is pivotal in understanding how the antichrist will come about. Jacob Prasch hits the nail on the head when he said…Satan is going to use philanthropy to get people to follow the Antichrist. He is going to pretend, like Judas, the “son of perdition,” to care about the poor as a way to manipulate God’s people. [Shadows of the Beast]

Like I said, just a few things that I wanted to share with you today. Keep your eyes looking up, while testing everything against our measuring tool, that being the Word of God.
