Jerusalem divided may produce the Third Temple…

This is a RED FLAG post!

As you all probably know by now, the UN will attempt to make a Palestinian State and divide Jerusalem in September of this year. This is BIG news because prophetically speaking it talks about the division of Jerusalem and the bible also talks about a third temple being constructed. Some people call this the Antichrist’s Temple because he will sit on the throne as if he is God.

The Temple location has been in dispute for a very long time, but there is evidence that the temple can be built along side the Dome of the Rock. I wrote a post a while ago where I had documented everything I could at the time. It may be worth revisiting that post…

Rev 11:2 And cast aside the outside court of the temple, and do not measure it. For it was given to the nations (meaning Gentiles), and they will trample the holy city forty two months.

What I found after looking closely at this verse is that the outer court or the court of the Gentiles is to be cast aside, and is fact to be not to be measured at all. I have read many explanations concerning the un-measured outer court, but because the outer court of gentiles could well be including the Dome of the Rock then perhaps they are not allowed to measure because of the outrage by the Islamic community? Perhaps this anti-christ temple will be so inclusive that it will include the Dome of the Rock inside the gentile court. These are just questions that I have asking myself of late, and I know that they will be answered in time. Here is what one explanation concerning the above verse it speaks about the outer court/court of the Gentiles and gives further insight.

The court (tēn aulēn). The uncovered yard outside the house. There were usually two, one between the door and the street, the outer court, the other the inner court surrounded by the buildings (Mar_14:66). This is here the outer court, “which is without the temple” (tēn exōthen tou naou), outside of the sanctuary, but within the hieron where the Gentiles could go (carrying out the imagery of the Jerusalem temple).
Leave without (ekbale exōthen). Literally, “cast without” (second aorist active imperative of ekballō.
Do not measure it (mē autēn metrēsēis). Prohibition with mē and the first aorist active (ingressive) subjunctive of metreō. This outer court is left to its fate. In Herod’s temple the outer court was marked off from the inner by “the middle wall of partition” (to mesoitoichon tou phragmou, Eph_2:15), beyond which a Gentile could not go. In this outer court was a house of prayer for the Gentiles (Mar_11:17), but now John is to cast it out and leave to its fate (given to the Gentiles in another sense) to be profaned by them. Robertsons Word Pictures Commentary.

I find this to be very interesting indeed. It seems to me, that if this temple is built according to these maps, then the Dome of the Rock (which is inside the court of the Gentiles, correct me if I am wrong, but that is what it looks like to me and just as a side note I have emailed Prof. Joseph Patrich and am waiting on a reply) shall be left alone and will not to be measured as scripture indicates. This temple may satisfy the Sanhedrin (time will tell), and the gentile Muslims would still have their Dome. An all inclusive place of worship for Jews, Muslims and for those Kingdom Now Christians who don’t know any better, they will think that the kingdom has arrived with PEACE finally being ushered in between all three major religions.

Prof. Joseph Patrich got back to me and he said this:

It is outside the temple court, but still within the screen barring gentile entrance.

In reading Jacob Prash’s book called “Shadows of the Beast” he states this…

Dr. Asher Koffman  would place the Temple more than 300 feet north of the Dome on the present location of the Dome of the Spirits (more importantly known as “The Dome of the Tablets”) in a direct line from the present East Gate of Jerusalem, which is constructed upon the Herodian stones of its probable predecessor. If Koffman is correct, or is believed to be correct, it is easily possible to reconstruct a Jewish temple next to the Mosque of Omar with a dividing barrier between the two. This will exactly match the prophecies of Ezekiel 42:20 and would explain the Tribulational Temple of Revelation 11 and the implied Temple of 2 Thessalonians.

I have been speaking with someone on FB and they said the following… I’m following the events closely. The Temple Institute is responsible for the rebuilding of the new Jewish Temple. They have prepared for everything & are just waiting for a go to start the construction. I have already seen the floor plan of the Temple. From the news I gathered previously the Jews were already discussing an agreement with PA to rebuilt it. Seems they will both agree side by side.

If any of you reading this post has any more information about the floor plans or the discussions between the Jews and the PA could you please comment with any links that you come across. I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks

  1. Thanks Zee, when that Anti christ Temple starts to be built, and we know it will, that will be the Beginning of The Great Tribulation…what do you think?

    • Perhaps there will be some kind of agreement signed for this temple to be built. And I do think that when the temple is built it will be the start of Jacob’s Trouble. The prophetic night would have come, where no man can work. As far as it being the Great Tribulation I think that the Great Tribulation can be broken into two parts. The first half is when the Antichrist brings mayhem upon the world and the second is when God executes His wrath upon the unbelieving nations.

Time will tell. We have to also remember that the Antichrist is the little horn, so he won’t be so obvious at first. Jacob addresses this in his book. Certainly as we get closer to things unfolding, those who are the true Church will be wise enough to understand what’s going on and who the Antichrist will be. Daniel says that the wise will understand.

Dan 12:10 Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but they that are wise shall understand.

Also in Revelation it says that those with understanding can calculate his name.

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.

The wise can only be those who know the Word and are not deceived by the Antichrist.

  2. Hi Zee: Yes those that have wisdom will understand, the ones that don’t have wisdom are those that don’t have Christ. The first 3 1/2 years will be given over to the persecuter the Dragon we already see that the Seducer snake is doing his thing. Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall were out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time, (1,260) days, 3 1/2 years. i have know idea when the 3 1/2 years really begin but those 4 horses are not that far away. Just like The LORD let the Apostles know who the son of perdition was, even though they did not fully understand at that time. Matthew 26:23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. John 20:22 The Apostles were then saved, but they did not receive the Holy Spirit that gave them power until they were in the upper room after HIS Resurrection. When the LORD lets us know who the (not a, for there is many anti christ’s)Anti christ is then there will be the first resurrection and the Rapture of the Faithful christains that do not love their life in this world but to only love the ones that are part of it for them to come to the knowledge of The Truth, to repent and be saved Amen. Jacobs trouble is after the Rapture of the true church. Armageddon begins and 1/3 of the jewish people will be saved Zechariah 12:10-14 Zechariah 13:1-9. The Prince of Peace will come to Jerusalem. By the unmerited Grace of G-D i’m a Bible Believing christain, we are to be making the jewish people jealous for their Saviour and give them the True Gospel of G-D. HE died for my sins, i should be willing to die for HIM. Not all will be martyred but we should be willing to, many are already. It will be that way until HE Returns. Grace and Peace in The Name of Great G-D The LORD.Amen

    • Hi Gloria,

That is pretty much how I see it unfolding. You are right about Judas not being knows until he was revealed by Christ and this is a typology for the Antichrist being revealed to the faithful when the time is right. I learnt that from Jacob’s book. Have you read his book ‘Shadows of the Beast’ too? I am still going through it. It’s brilliant. I know Lorrie who is a regular at this blog has just started the book. She read ‘The dilemma of Laodicea’ recently, which I haven’t read yet, but I will very soon.

Jacobs Trouble is the last half of the tribulation because that is when God deals with Israel. So I think you are right that the beginning of the seven years is the Great Tribulation which is separated into two parts. Satan persecuting the world, then God dealing with Israel.

  3. Here’s a thought. What if the Psalm 83 war is confused with the BIG war of Armageddon and this is when the Antichrist comes issuing peace and the world sees him as the messiah? Just putting it out there… hmmmm

    • i thought about that too more then a few times, Armageddon is The LORD’s Wrath, Psalm 83 (my opion) is the Wrath of The LORD.

  4. I have learnt that God will use the unbelieving nations to discipline Israel, so the Psalm 83 war would be part of that in my opinion. And some say that this will be the opportunity for Israel to extend its borders much to the world’s disgust. This will make sense of Ezekiel where it says that Israel will be living in peace without walls. I will have to find a link for you all that has a youtube that explains all of this. I put it up quite a few weeks ago.
