This is a RED FLAG post!
For awhile now I have blogged about the New Age movement infiltrating the Church and quite a lot of people have recognised this in their own Church. Those same people quite often sit outside the visible Church because of this.Note, I say visible Church because I see that there are many Christians who are not attending Churches because they have slid away from orthodox teachings. There are still quite a few Churches out there who have stood by the truth and if you are lucky enough to live near one of them, you are truly blessed.
st link I am going to provide has quite a few quotes from New Age philosophers and the new evangelicals, Brian McLaren and Rob Bell. After reading this article you can be sure that Rob Bell and McLaren have been influenced not by sound doctrine, but rather New Age philosophy that finds its way back to Madam Blavatsky and Alice Bailey…
For decades authentic Bible-believers have watched – and battled – the slow advancement of paganism inside the Church. This phenomenon is surely becoming much more pronounced today. Right under our noses, there is now a bold blending of holy faith with demonic influence. This synthesis of two opposing worldviews is nothing short of a satanic strategy meant to blur and twist the distinctions which separate real Christianity and New Age beliefs and activities. [source]
After reading the above article, I stumble upon something that should really interest you. the article that I am about to talk about is an ulitmate example of how the Church is experimenting with spiritual mysticism. Have you heard about 11-11-11? Do you know what is happening on this date and time? Check out THIS…
What is the 11 invitation? Simply put:
• When looking at the time on the clock, it often ends with 11 or
• When daily opening the scripture , it often ends with 11.
The clock represents that a time is important to the Holy Spirit, and often opening to an 11 verse in the word represents that the Holy Spirit is speaking to the church. He is trying to get our attention that He is saying something and about to do something. [source]
The event is so obviously mystical and far from biblical that it makes my skin crawl. There is this group of people who have been given a vision. That vision is a line being drawn in the sand (kinda ironic because I do believe that there is a line being drawn in the sand between those who remain faithful and those who incorporate spiritual mysticism in the form of Christianity. God is cleaning out His House!).
The whole site reeks of mysticism. One vision in particular spoke about how God’s people were going to be marked and those who are not hearing from God in the same way are going to be marked for doom…The angels went to individuals, to homes, to churches, to cities, and to regions. They only said one thing to each person. They either said, “Marked for slaughter- the harlot’s daughter.” Or, they said, “Marked for heaven- no leaven.”
Then it goes on to say that people who were marked for heaven were put into a Rose Bowl, they will be burned up and turned into fiery coal (it is interesting to note that in the bible fiery coals are a form of judgment. burning coals: Psa-11:6, Psa-18:13-14, Psa-21:9, Psa-120:4; Gen-19:24; Exo-9:23-24; Rev-16:8-9) and this bowl will be poured out…
The bowl began to rise higher and higher, and as it did, it began to catch on fire. I heard roars, and tumults, and thunders, and crashes coming from within the bowl. His people were becoming as fiery coals and ashes within the bowl. Flames leaped out of the bowl. Then great peals of thunder sounded from the bowl, and a flashing of a great light. After this, I saw Jesus. He reached down and took the bowl of people into His hands and He poured the bowl out, and it poured over many lands. [source]
I don’t know about you, but this bowl reminds me of the ‘bowls of wrath’ that Revelation speaks about. Interestingly enough, before the collection of those who have been marked, an angel came down with scales. Again, this is in Revelation. The scales happen just before the first rider on the white horse appears. This rider is NOT Christ, it is the anti-Christ!
You can see how this sort of thing sounds biblical but if far from it. And I say with GREAT caution, these prophecies may well be prophetic, but NOT in the way that is being purported by those who are practicing mysticism. Again I say that with GREAT caution.
You can see from my LAST post that symbolic-prophetic images and biblical parallels are found in many religions, including Islam! I do hope you go to that post and check out the youtubes which will clarify things which are unfolding today. You will see that we are in a time of spiritual warfare like never before.
Eph 6:11 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.
Eph 6:13 Therefore, take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day and to stand in all things perfect.
