  1. Regarding the Jews. Their problem is not that they reject Jesus, that is the result of them not believing Moses and their prophets in the first place.

    Joh 5:46 For if you were believing Moses, you would then believe Me; for that one wrote concerning Me.
    Joh 5:47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My Words?

    When the Jews get desperate that is when they accept the ones that they reject. The first part of Judges 11 deals with a shadow of the messianic figure or rejection of his brothers, then in their hour of need they accept this shadow of Messiach.
