The Word of God or the word of man?

Currently I’m reading a book called “The Creation Answers Book”. It has more than 60 of the most asked questions about creation, evolution, and the book of Genesis. I am really enjoying it.

One section is called “The Bible’s absolute honesty” and I thought I would just share with you what it says…

Someone has said ‘The bible is not a book that man could write if he would, or would write if he could.’ The Bible does not honour man, but God.  The people in the bible have feet of clay; they are shown ‘warts and all’. Against the backdrop of their sinfulness and unfaithfulness, God’s holiness and faithfulness shines through.

How true that is! Something to ponder isn’t it?

Here is an excellent post on the whole creation, evolution thing:

    • I think they attack the foundation because they have been educated within a Post-modern and politically correct world. They have not been educated on how to study the bible within its own context, and they have certainly no idea how to use historical, grammatical exegesis when applying scripture. They are really good at interpreting the bible with their own subjective worldview as apposed to interpreting the world with a biblical worldview.

That’s how I see it anyway.

Thanks for commenting and providing a link Cullen 🙂
