This morning I went to the movies with a friend of mine… the movie we watched was called “The Voyage That Shook The World“. It’s about Charles Darwin, his life and his work. It examined what kind of man Darwin was and what helped shaped his theory of evolution.
He was a man that was inquisitive and wanted answers to the question of life. Yes he came up with answers, but were his answers completely free of pre-conceived philosophical ideas? Who and what influenced his research?
The movie really isn’t about the creation vs evolution debate at all, but more about the man himself and the times in which he lived. It was one of the best documentary’s I have seen in a long time. The movie is only 1 hour in length and made for TV. Let’s hope it manages to get airplay!
