Why would God say to Mr BAM, BAM Bentley that the Church has to believe in THE angel? What angel is Todd Bentley talking about?

The name of this angel may give us some clues. So might Bentley’s inked skin!!!

Who is this Emma? There are some tattoos that Bentley has on his arm, and they are written in Japanese. People are desperate to find out what these tattoos say, either to verify or put aside something that may or may not be true regarding this angel Emma. His symbols on his arm could well be Kanji symbols which from my research could relate to the following…

One of the tattoos that have puzzled people are the three large Japanese Kanji symbols on his left arm. Eternal Path turned to expert Takanori Tomita, a native speaker of Japanese and fluent in English, who translates Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana Symbols. Kanji are ideographic characters. Each Kanji character represents an entire object, idea, or meaning in a visual character(s). Many kanji characters are similar to each other, and some can have different meanings depending on context. The first letter on Todd’s arm means DAI=Big or Great, the middle one EI=Protect or Defend, the last one OU=King or Monarch. In Japanese, DAIOU is often added to provide honor to the subject of mention. In proper order, it would would seem to read “Protect Great King,” however not only is the order wrong, but the character in the middle is incorrectly rendered. Further more, even if the middle character is used at the top, there’s no such word combination like “Protect the Great King”. It doesn’t make any sense in Japanese even if the order of the character is corrected and the middle character is properly written. It is not unusual for Western tattoo translations to be in error. The middle symbol does not represent the Chinese character “David” in this context, as is widely speculated.

Alex Mizuno, another individual versed in Japanese tradition and writing styles, who produces Japanese documentaries, revealed that there is a Japanese word “Emma Daioh” which means “Emma, the Great King”, which is used very commonly in his culture. This God is sometimes simply called “Emma-sama (sama is added for respect)” or “Emma.” Buddhists recognize Emma-sama as Yama, who rules the spirits of the dead in Naraka (hell). He said Todd’s erred tattoo was in favor of the latter translation. The tongues of flame accenting the Kanji symbols also support his position depicting the god of Naraka.

In Japan Yanluo is referred to as Emma (older Yemma) , or Emma-ō (閻魔大王 Enma Dai-Ō, “Great King Yama”) in someway. You can clearly see that the first three symbols, those being 魔大王 are inked into his skin. But there is a symbol that is missing [ 閻 ]. The symbols are in a different order too.

What everyone is trying to find out is what do these symbols mean, especially in light of Emma-O the angel that appears in The Satanic Bible and Emma-O according to Japanese mysticism.

Even if the tatt’s do not speak of the Japanese Ruler of Hell. The Angel called “Emma” was most assuredly spoken of by Bentley in the past, and now it seems he has become ashamed of her as he has changed his story on his web-site and doesn’t call her by name, but rather a ‘particular angel’.

There is a skull within a Rosicrucian Rose the skull/devil looks like it symbolises the Oni which is another Japanese ‘two horned devil’. The words to die is to gain is written below this particular tattoo.

Andrew Strom has put together a very interesting article on all of this. Also there are photos of other tattoos that Bentley has put on his body since becoming a Christian which are clearly occultic. Andrew actually writes that…

“I know Todd started off OK - I was there in his early meetings… In September 2000 I stood in front of Todd and gave him the warning that God gave me for him. “Beware, the leaven of the Pharisees, lest an angelic leaven enters your ministry.”

“One month later, according to Todd’s own account, at a meeting in Grants Pass Oregon, Cal Pierce walked in with Branham’s ‘Healing Revival’ angel in tow, Todd saw and accepted this spirit without reservation. His ‘angels’ have been with him ever since.

Bentley has just been given a prophesy that there are demons and witches which are currently against this move. He says that they are trying to stop the seer and revelatory angelic presence. He goes on to say that we need him because without his testimony of the supernatural, the seer realm, the revelatory realm etc would not be happening.

He says that maybe he should back away a little bit, about the angelic stuff. But [G]god told him to repent of this thought, and that the angelic realm, the revelatory realm, the open heaven will be released because he will not backaway.

What is with this woman! This is most most bizarre manifestation I have ever seen! When I watched this particular youtube and saw this woman, Stacey Campbell, I thought about the two faces of Janus! To me that is what she looked like…most weird! I have seen pretty bizarre things, but this is the most shocking yet! She is hissing like some sort of snake, and whatever she is doing, I would not think physically possible!

He compared what is happening to Acts 8…the story of Phillip. OK, but this is what shocked me, he also quoted Psalm 2…

6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

This is about Christ–I hope you know that. Apparently Todd does not for he attributed these verses to himself and the ‘Kingly Anointing’ upon the false prophets there on the stage with him. He said, ‘I’m not just reading these verses, I’m making a decree…a Prophetic decree”…

I was going to blog about him… but I am sooo disturbed that I can’t bring myself to do that just yet.

Then I collect my email, and guess what??? Moriel sent me some information on this guy.

According to his myspace he is right into…

Divine Ecstasy, Soul Snatching, Reaching the Outcast, Third Heaven Visitation, Wonderworking, Levitation, Bilocation, Translation, Transfiguration, Exorcisms, Spontaneous Generation of Matter, Water Walking, Walking Through Walls, Glowing, Healing, Dead Raising, Stigmatism, Incombustibility, Speaking with Animals, Authority over the Elements, Super Strength, Angelic Interaction, etc.

He actually says that he has bilocated himself… he has been in two places at once! He says that he has healed people from being fat, where the fat has just literally dropped off of someone… perhaps Todd Bentley should ask for healing!!!

Below is a quote from Todd Bentley and this should wave red flags of caution. The quote comes from a site called “Discerning the World“. This particular article is very good in explaining why this so called move of God is actually a form of dominionism.

“Because, Todd, you have to get the people to believe in the angel.”

The Buzz about Bentley and the Florida Revival is spreading like wild fire, that is obvious. But what exactly is spreading from one person to another, and from one country to another?

One very good article called Kundalini Energy (the effects of Soaking Prayer) speaks about the very close relationship between what is being called “Soaking Prayer” and the eastern practice of awakening the Kundalini serpent.

A very worrying sign was when Todd Bentley said that he used to feel the anointing in his hand, now he feels it in his spine. This sent red flags of warning to many people. A Kundalini teacher speaks about the hand and the energy that can be felt…

The energy travels from the right hand to the left, through centre to recharge and back. Left hand absorbs energy. The energy of crystals can be felt more readily with the left hand.

Has Todd Bentley awakened his Kundalini?

Theorists within the schools of Humanistic psychology, Transpersonal psychology and Near-Death Studies describe a complex pattern of motor functions, sensory, affective and cognitive-hermeneutic symptoms called the Kundalini Syndrome. This psychosomatic arousal and excitation is believed to occur in connection with prolonged and intensive spiritual or contemplative practice (such as meditation or yoga) or as a result of intense life experience or a near encounter with death (such as a near-death experience).

According to these fields of study the Kundalini syndrome is of a different nature than a single Kundalini episode, such as a Kundalini arousal. The Kundalini syndrome is a process that might unfold over several months, or even years. If the accompanying symptoms unfold in an intense manner - that de-stabilizes the person - the process is usually interpreted as what Stanislav Grof has termed “spiritual emergency”

Interdisciplinary dialogues within the mentioned schools of psychology (see references below) have now established some common criteria in order to describe this condition, of which the most prominent feature is a feeling of energy travelling along the spine, or progressing upwards in the body. Motor symptoms are said to include tremors, other spontaneous or involuntary body movements and changes in respiratory function.

Vatican says aliens could exist

The Pope’s chief astronomer says that life on Mars cannot be ruled out.

Writing in the Vatican newspaper, the astronomer, Father Gabriel Funes, said intelligent beings created by God could exist in outer space.

Father Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory near Rome, is a respected scientist who collaborates with universities around the world.

The search for forms of extraterrestrial life, he says, does not contradict belief in God.

The official Vatican newspaper headlines his article ‘Aliens Are My Brother’.

The truth is out there: Britons ’spotted’ UFOs, records say…

The British government recorded reports of alien craft flying over Liverpool and a UFO hovering over Waterloo Bridge in London, it was revealed in declassified files released on Wednesday.

Files have been opened for the first time detailing hundreds of sightings of unexplained objects in the skies over Britain.

They show that the Ministry of Defence was less worried about the possibility of visitors from outer space than in checking that Unidentified Flying Objects were not in reality evidence of covert spying missions mounted by other countries.

Nick Pope, who was responsible for investigating the sightings at the ministry, said: “While there’s no evidence of little green men in these files, they should be of immense interest to sceptics and believers.

“Most of the UFO sightings here are probably misidentifications of aircraft lights and meteors, but some are more difficult to explain, and include UFOs seen by police officers and pilots, and cases where UFOs have been tracked on radar.”

I have read recently that by the year 2009 the UN will have to make a public announcement in regards to UFOs as they are expecting many more sightings to happen over the next year or so…

The UN Plan for UFO Disclosure and the International Year of Astronomy

The United Nations has designated the year 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy. Whether this was purposeful or just a coincidence, it lines up perfectly with their alleged plan to encourage disclosure of information about the UFO phenomenon next year. After one or more meetings and briefings on the subject were allegedly held in February of this year, I made a number of inquiries and have been astonished at the results.

I recently received two interesting responses to emails that I sent to various departments within the United Nations. The first came from the Office of the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General and was unsigned. It stated that the U.N. has named 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy. Among other things, this designation honors the four hundred year anniversary of Galileo Galilei as the father of modern observational astronomy.

Although no mention was made of my inquiry about the alleged UFO briefings or planned 2009 disclosure effort, it’s noteworthy that the first email also mentioned the stated purposes of the International Year of Astronomy as found on the official website at astronomy2009.org. The first purpose has some interesting wording:

“Increase the scientific awareness among the general public through the communication of scientific results in astronomy and related fields, as well as the process of research and critical thinking that leads to these results.”

By adding ‘related fields’ to the mission statement, the International Year of Astronomy event organizers can easily incorporate almost anything related to space, science and astronomy into their program. Although any mention of the search for life in the universe is conspicuously absent from the IYA-2009 website, that doesn’t mean that the UN cannot use IYA-2009 as a springboard to launch various inquiries into the existence of extraterrestrial life or make announcements about UFO disclosure.

We’ll see, 2009 is not long to wait to see if the UN is going to disclose what they want us to know about UFOs.

Vatican astronomer says if aliens exist, they may not need redemption

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — If aliens exist, they may be a different life form that does not need Christ’s redemption, the Vatican’s chief astronomer said.
Jesuit Father Jose Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory, said Christians should consider alien life as an “extraterrestrial brother” and a part of God’s creation.
Father Funes, an Argentine named to his position by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006, made the remarks in an interview published May 13 by the Vatican newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano.
Father Funes said it was difficult to exclude the possibility that other intelligent life exists in the universe, and he noted that one field of astronomy is now actively seeking “biomarkers” in spectrum analysis of other stars and planets.

Asked about implications that the discovery of alien life might pose for Christian redemption, Father Funes cited the Gospel parable of the shepherd who left his flock of 99 sheep in order to search for the one that was lost.
“We who belong to the human race could really be that lost sheep, the sinners who need a pastor,” he said.
“God became man in Jesus in order to save us. So if there are also other intelligent beings, it’s not a given that they need redemption. They might have remained in full friendship with their creator,” he said.

I was flicking through some of my fave’s (More books and Things and Sola Dei Gloria)and a particular name

keeps popping up.

And that name is…. drum roll please… Todd Bentley.

Now, as I live on the other side of the world the Buzz about Bentley has not hit our shores yet, but from what I can read from people who have been to his circus ahem, shows or whatever they are… there is clearly a demonic overtone. One that sounds very similar to the Toronto Blessing and Kansas City Prophets. He is linked to Patricia King from the Elijah list — enough said!

One post from “More Books and Things” called “Bentley Book” is a good one in connecting all the dots with other false prophets and another one called “Bizarre Bentley Things” has a few links to the Bentley videos.

“Sola Dei Gloria” has written a very important post called “Most Contagious Anointing - Florida” and when I read this my ears pricked up. Why? Because of a certain Church that certain people that I know attend will more than likely welcome this phenomena with open arms and with little discernment! This Church is always on the look out for spiritual manifestations. It is always seeking after signs and wonders. This Church is very familiar with angel visitations already, and has had guest speakers ask little children to encourage such visits and have asked them to keep a night time journal to document such “Night Seasons“.

Speaking of angel visitations, Bentley has many angels hang out with him and dissect him, literally.

The scary thing is this… the witnesses to such spiritual things noted the following manifestations…

• They come back with this kind of childlike drunken stupor.

• Descriptions of a burning sensation either in their veins, heads or stomachs.

• Descriptions of being washed back and forth like the waves in the ocean;

• Dancing about like drunk…

• Inappropriate yelling and screaming like they’re at a football game;

• Young men whistling over and over and holding their heads and claiming that they “feel the Holy Spirit about to split them in two”;

• One young man’s back two teeth turned completely to some metallic finish.

• People with their eyes rolled in the back of their heads and weaving around like they’re lost.

• Women just gyrating and pulsating like they’re being ravaged from behind from some unseen force.

• Drunken uncontrollable laughter in the middle of a solemn prayer time.

Sola Dei Gloria’s post has much more about these spiritual manifestations and then the post ends in scripture that actually states that this behaviour is actually demonic. I have to say I concur 100%.

In fact after reading about the angel visitations and some of the above behaviour — especially the woman gyrating and pulsating like they’re being ravished from behind — sounds an awful like an un-holy spiritual union is taking place. The manifestations are no different to kundalini and I am convinced that this outward behaviour is a reflection of something that is happening in the spirit realm. The Bentley’s of this world will call it a revival, but I think that this a judgement from God. These people are becoming unequally yoked in the most un-holiest way.

Another post well worth a read is “The Fruit Of The Spirits Todd Bentley Operates Under, and a comment…” this has a link to a couple of youtubes that are extremely disturbing to say the least….

If you watched this then you know this guy testifies of an Angel reaching into his body and operating on him…Todd talks of basically the same thing happening to himself in this disturbing clip…of being whisked up into heaven and placed upon an operating table: Todd Bentley and the pillar of fire.

Does anyone else hear anything familiar in these testimonies to something else?

I watched just a few of the youtubes and I did so only after I prayed for protection under the blood of the Lamb, Lord Jesus Christ, and I was absolutely horrified at what I heard. Something deep and spiritual is happening, people are being transported to some kind of spiritual realm and they are being operated on! This German minister, who intends to take this particular anointing back home with him, said that he followed a what he calls an “angel” back to his hotel room and then he was knocked out for several hours. In that time he remembers this spiritual being — that he calls an angel — playing around with his insides like an operation was happening.

I have no doubt in my mind that this phenomena will increase world wide. Similar things will happen to people around the globe but they will interpret their experience through their own cultural/religious lens. What one person says is an angel visitation, another will call it an Alien abduction while the hindu/ New Age/ Occultist will call it a kundalini experience, aligning the chakras, and the list goes on.

Nowhere in the the bible does it say that this kind behaviour is in any way a good thing; show me where it says that it is good and from God! I bet you would have to do some serious scriptural gymnastics to say that this is a sound biblical practice! People are testing this in the wrong way, they are saying to themselves… if this is from you God, then give it to me…let me experience it, then I know it will be true. The true test is to search the scriptures to see if this is from God. Scriptures in context and without using any scriptural gymnastics!

An article called “A BIBLICAL PRECEDENT Aliens from Outer Space, or Angels?” is a must read for those who are trying to find out about the truth regarding this phenomena! Here is a quote from the article…

From the account in Genesis 6:1-4 reams of mythology have been generated. The New Testament also makes note of this event in three key passages: I Peter 3:19, 20; II Peter 2:4-6; and Jude 1:6-7. The facts of the case are simple and the supporting arguments are too many and varied to detail each one in this writing, but the event may be summarized as follows:

1. Angelic beings (”sons of God”) came to Earth, lustfully desiring the attractive daughters of men (Genesis 6:2).

2. They took whomever they chose as wives (Genesis 6:2).

3. This angelic intervention occurred not only before but also after the time of Noah’s Flood (Genesis 6:4).

4. The offspring from these unlawful unions were physical giants (Nephalim - “fallen ones” - in the Hebrew) (Genesis 6:4).

5. The fallen angels who committed this sin were incarcerated in Tartarus where they now await judgment (II Peter 2:4 Greek).

Arrogant Goliath, who challenged David and was slain by the latter (I Samuel 17:49-51), was one of the Nephalim (”fallen ones”), a giant offspring from an unlawful union between a fallen angel, or demon, and a human. Goliath was among the second, or post-Flood, outbreaks of such giants. He stood nearly 10 feet tall.

6. Only a portion of the angels who originally fell with Lucifer committed this atrocity, since all who thus sinned were imprisoned, but there are other fallen angels who are not bound (Jude 1:6).

7. The sin of the angels was the same as that of Sodom and Gomorra; i.e., they gave themselves to fornication, specifically going after a different kind of flesh (Jude 1:7).

The answer is clear. Genesis 6:1-4 records a unique intervention of certain fallen angels into the affairs of humanity. They intervened by inbreeding with women, and their horrendous offspring - part-angel and part-human were doomed to genetic failure and judgment. This was an attempt on the part of Satan to pollute the “seed of the woman” (Genesis 3:15) so that no conqueror could eventually come and defeat him. The elaborate plan almost succeeded, but God spared Noah, keeping him unpolluted, “perfect in his generations” (Genesis 6:9), thereby preserving the way for Jesus Christ to be the fulfillment of Genesis 3:15.

Though this most strategic aspect of Satan’s agenda was foiled, the angelic interbreeding wrought havoc to this Earth. Wickedness became so widespread, even into the animal world, that God had to send the judgment of Noah’s flood. The actual existence of the “mythological” figures of the satyr (goat-man) and centaur (horse-man), for example, are monstrosities which likely have an historical basis in fact. Demonic meddling in animal genetics could very well have brought about the grotesque assemblages of the “gods” that we read about in ancient mythology. When the outbreak occurred again, after the Flood, God imprisoned the wicked spirits in Tartarus and omnipotently brought the outbreak to an end.

The darkened heart of the unbeliever, nevertheless, was a ripe place for Satan and his demons to sustain the memory of these fallen angels. The angels had become gods. They were to be worshipped. They had come from the stars. They had imparted “life” to humans. They had performed spectacular miracles, and revealed great truths, never before imagined. They had returned to the stars (according to Satan’s delusion), but not before they left a promise to come again! Such are the themes of so many stories and beliefs around the world that the masterful counterfeit of Christian truth is almost frightening. A perfect example of all this is recorded in Acts 14:8-13 where Paul and Barnabas are assumed by the Lycaonians to be human manifestations of their gods who had come down to do miracles. God’s work was attributed to demons.

This is a RED FLAG post

Just yesterday I was reading in a paper about a very strange phenomena that has been documented by organ transplant recipients. One case that I will share, and this is one of many I might add, is about a son who recently received one of his mothers kidney’s. He actually ended up certain foods that previously to the implant turned his stomach!

His mum absolutely loved pumpkin soup as well as many other hearty vegetables which of course he couldn’t stand. Well, that all changed in an instant – he said overnight — once he had a piece of his mum living in him. Now, this is not the first case of someone who is an organ transplant recipient also receiving traits of the original owner of the organ. One thought provoking article speaks about the possibility of receiving another person’s soul through transplants – this is a must read article that really makes you wonder what we are truly made up of and where does our soul actually reside. Whatever the case may be, something very weird is going on.

Now I am going to mention just one word to you, one word that should make the most humane of us shudder with fear, especially considering the accumulating evidence that something more is going on when we mix person with person.

Cybrids!!!

When I hear of the experimentation happening in countries such as Britain, where they have actually created human-animal embryos already, then I start to really freak out!

Embryos containing human and animal material have been created in Britain for the first time, a month before the House of Commons votes on new laws to regulate the research.

A team at Newcastle University announced yesterday that it had successfully generated “admixed embryos” by adding human DNA to empty cow eggs in the first experiment of its kind in Britain.

The Newcastle cybrids lived for three days and the largest grew to contain 32 cells.

We really have no idea about the complications arising from this mixing of seeds.

“You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, or all the produce of the seed which you have sown and the increase of the vineyard will become defiled. “You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. “You shall not wear a material mixed of wool and linen together. - Deuteronomy 22:9-11

The idea taught throughout scripture is that man is not to mix together two different kinds. The implication is that mixing kinds causes defilement and corruption.

Any student of the bible will know exactly where this post could lead in regards to the mixing of seeds and the defilement of man. Has this happened before and if so, when? If you are curious, just read Genesis 6.

Interesting to note that the book of Jasher which the bible speaks about in a few places writes the following about certain rulers, the bible calls these the nephilim, who forced sexual relations with the daughters of men. Look what it says that happened in those days before the flood…

Jasher 4:18-19 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals. And the Lord said, I will blot out man that I created from the face of the earth, yea from man to the birds of the air, together with cattle and beasts that are in the field for I repent that I made them.

As in the days of Noah people – as in the days of Noah!

This is a RED FLAG post!

Are you aware that there is a symbol being used to represent higher human evolution? I reckon we will start to see this particular symbol — however subtle — being used everywhere. The symbol is of a triangle with a circle within it, or on top of it.

This symbol also reminded me of the pyramid with the all Seeing Eye on the American dollar bill, and also of the pyramid of Gaza which does not have its capstone; it is missing the top… strange me thinks!

This symbol can found on James Twyman’s site “Beloved World“, if you remember he is the “Moses Code” guy, and he also has an album called “Order of the Beloved Disciple” found here at Amazon. You can see the picture of some strange looking Mary, almost alien like if you look closely enough, and behind her is the symbol made out or rays of light and clouds etc… can you see it?

Twyman is also right into the “Indigo/Crystal kids and has co-directed a film with Neale Donald Walsch called “Indigo“. (See my previous posts on this subject here, here, here and here)

James Twyman has written a book (a narrative) called “The Secret of the Beloved Disciple” and here you can find the pre-edition of the first chapter. A close look at this chapter shows me that he is speaking about the Catholic Mary as being something like an “Emissary of Light”. The so called beloved disciple is disciple John, and the secret is the relationship between John and Mary after the crucifix. I will quote what Mary/Maria says in this book…

“Listen very close because what I am about to tell you is very important. I have not come for you alone, but for all the world. This is the dawn of the world of compassion and peace. I am the Queen of Peace because I fully embody these qualities, and I can assist your entry into this experience. You could say that I am the Feminine Principle. These qualities are traditionally feminine qualities, and it is into this energy that humanity must now enter. I can help in special ways, but only if you set aside the need to find peace through conflict. Compassion, understanding and tolerance are the paths that lead to me. This is the Door that humanity stands in front of.”

“But what about those who are not Catholic. . .or Christian?” I asked. “Do people need to accept you in this particular role, or any particular religion?”

“I am not reserved for one particular group or religion,” she said. “I am for the whole world, though many will find their own way of relating to me. The form is not important, but the energy is. It is the energy I bring that is important, and anyone can access it. If humanity is able to make this shift into the feminine energy, then peace will begin to sweep over the whole planet. But if you cling to power and domination, then you will miss this incredible opportunity, and you will continue to live in conflict.”

[…]“The reason I am with you like this is because my whole teaching is contained in this form. Find God in the ordinary. Seek the Divine in each other, and within yourself. That’s how the transformation begins. That’s how you’ll remember who you are—the Sacred Self that God perceives.

There’s still so much you need to learn, especially about the one who is coming…the bearer of light.”

“I thought you were the one I was waiting for,” I said to her. “Aren’t you ‘the next teacher’ the Emissaries spoke of?”

“The next teacher is already with you, and you will know what to do when that time comes. I am here to prepare you. I am here to remind you of your promise, and to hold your hand. Don’t worry, it will all make sense very soon.”

Then Mary says that the actual Emissaries are from the “Order of the Beloved Disciple”. Just as a reminder, this book is a narrative, but it does have an abundance of New Age themes that are preparing the world for a Christ Consciousness that many are now speaking about and expecting to happen as we evolve.

The character in the book asks Mary about Jesus and John (the beloved disciple)…

“Are you saying that they’ve been on earth for the last two-thousands years? But how is that possible?”

“You believe that this realm is limited to the physical world you perceive,” she said. “There are many other levels of reality you have yet to perceive, and they are just as real as this one. It is from these deeper levels that the essential work has taken place. It was to this realm that Jesus ascended after his resurrection, and it is there that he has remained, along with John and many others, waiting for the time of the great shift. You can consider them a group of overseers, kind of a board of directors.

“The Emissaries were the physical counterpart of this unique group made up of beings who have achieved mastery on this level of existence, from every religion and spiritual path. There are other levels beyond that place, what you might call the angelic realms. The Emissaries were like an anchor point that served as a physical link between all these etheric planes and the physical world.”

“We’ve always been taught that Jesus ascended into Heaven,” I said to her, “and I would expect St. John to be there as well. It sounds like you’re saying that they’re somewhere in-between, and that they will someday leave that realm and return to earth.”

The masters do not return from these levels physically, unless it’s in a form like the one you’re perceiving right now. I have assumed this body in order to teach you a particular lesson. When the lesson is over the body is gone.

“What returns to the world is what you might call an ‘energetic signature.’ For example, ‘The Christ’ is an experience, not a person. Please understand this because it is of vital importance—Jesus was certainly the Christ, but the Christ is not limited to your idea of who Jesus was. Jesus assumed that frame of reference, or that energetic signature, and therefore became the savior of his age. The teacher you are waiting for, what you call ‘the next teacher’, will assume the same frame of reference as Jesus. It will be the same, and yet it will be different. It will be Jesus, but it will be more.”

Now according to this book — and other New Age teachers — this is how we are to expect Christ’s second coming…

I’m not sure if I understand,” I said. “What about the Second Coming? Does Jesus ever come back to earth, or is it his soul that returns?”

“It is both, and it is neither,” she said. “I’m sorry that it doesn’t makes logical sense, but there’s no way to understand it logically. Jesus, beyond his body and personality, has always been present on the etheric levels waiting to return to earth. This is the predestined time of awakening, the moment when ‘The Christ’ returns to initiate the New World.

Interestingly Oprah is doing a 365 day course in miracles, and in the book “A Course in Miracles” it speaks about the second coming of Christ which is to be understood as something very different to the traditional biblical account according to a study tool of glossary terms provided by Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D. (The link above is one that you can do a word search in the third addition of the book). The glossary states the following about the Second Coming…

Second Coming

the healing of the mind of the Sonship; the collective return to awareness of our reality as the one Son of God, which we had at our creation, the First Coming; precedes the Last Judgment, after which this world of illusion ends.

Holy Spirit

the Third Person of the Trinity Who is metaphorically described in the Course as God’s Answer to the separation; the Communication Link between God and His separated Sons, bridging the gap between the Mind of Christ and our split mind; the memory of God and His Son we took with us into our dream; the One Who sees our illusions (perception), leading us through them to the truth (knowledge); the Voice for God Who speaks for Him and for our real Self, reminding us of the Identity we forgot; also referred to as Bridge, Comforter, Guide, Mediator, Teacher, and Translator.

idol

symbol of the substitution of the ego for our true Self or God; a false belief that there can be something other than, or more than God, and thus separate from Him, a belief which is then projected onto the special relationship: people, things, or ideas; the anti-Christ.

Jesus

the source of the Course, its first person or ” I” ; the one who first completed his part in the Atonement, enabling him to be in charge of the whole plan; transcending his ego, Jesus has become identified with Christ and can now serve as our model for learning and an ever-present help when we call upon him in our desire to forgive. (Note — not to be exclusively identified with Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity.)

judgment

knowledge: strictly speaking God does not judge, since what He creates is perfect and at one with Him; the Course’s references to God’s Judgment reflect His recognition of His Son as His Son, forever loved and one with Him.

perception:

w-m: condemnation, whereby people are separated into those to be hated and those to be ” loved,” a judgment always based upon the past.

r-m: vision, whereby people are seen either as expressing love or calling for it, a judgment inspired by the Holy Spirit and always based upon the present.

Last (Final) Judgment

knowledge: contrasted with the traditional Christian view of judgment and punishment to reflect God’s loving relationship with all His Sons: His Final Judgment.

true perception: contrasted with the traditional Christian view of judgment and punishment and equated with the end of the Atonement when, following the Second Coming, the final distinction is made between truth and illusion, all guilt is undone, and awareness is restored to us as Christ — the Son of the living God.

last step

this step, belonging to God, occurs when the Atonement is complete and all ego interferences have been removed; when nothing remains to separate us from God, He takes the last step, raising us unto Himself; strictly speaking God does not take steps, and the term actually refers to our experience of returning to our Source Which we never truly left.

crucifixion

a symbol of the ego’s attack on God and therefore on His Son, witnessing to the ” reality” of suffering, sacrifice, victimization, and death which the world seems to manifest; also refers to the killing of Jesus, an extreme example that taught that our true Identity of love can never be destroyed, for death has no power over life.

Son of God

knowledge: the Second Person of the Trinity; the Christ Who is our true Self.

perception: our identity as separated Sons, or the Son of God as ego with a wrong and right mind; the biblical phrase “son of man” is used rarely to denote the Son as separated.

Trinity

the unity of Its Levels is not understandable in this world; consists of 1) God, the Father and Creator, 2) His Son, Christ, our true Self, Which includes our creations, and 3) the Holy Spirit, the Voice for God.

Word of God

God’s ” answer” to the separation; used variously for different aspects of this answer: e.g., forgiveness, peace, Atonement, and the Holy Spirit. (Note — does not refer to Jesus or Christ, as it does in the Bible.)

I know this is a long post, but it is one that points to how there is a redefining of Christian terminology. With the help of Oprah, James Twyman, Neale Donald Walsch and Marriane Williamson et al there is a subtle preparation underway for a new Christ, one that is about to manifest — a Christ Consciousness. A course in Miracles is a book that was originally dictated to channeller Helen Schucman in 1977 by her spirit guide who claimed to be Jesus. And by the sounds of it, this second coming of christ will be the many that the bible speaks about.

Mat 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

By the way, I hope to post something at a later date about what Neale Donald Walsch and others say on something called… “Separation theory/theology”. As you have probably noted by reading the glossary that in New Age thought there is a lot of negative views on dualistic - separation theology which is seen as an antiquated Christian philosophy… these include heaven/hell, God/man, evil/good etc.

This is a “RED FLAG” post!!!

I was emailed something from a couple of friends the other day, both were curious about the same thing…something about the 12 elders. Actually, Carla from “More Books and Things” has a post about this group of people. She emailed the link to their website http://www.theelders.org/welcome/ which she came across, nice detective work Carla. And she also has the link to a video which is interesting and worth a look at if you are curious about such things.

As far as the significance regarding the 12 elders, what I think is this … at this stage this is all just getting the world to accept the idea of a forthcoming global governance of sorts. It is just preparing the peoples of the earth to think outside of our sovereign countries and start thinking on a bigger, global scale because our problems are in fact global ones.

To do this in our multi-cultural, pluralistic world ( pluralism is noted as being a flat world) there needs to be some form of cohesion. And there is a word that is being bantered about the meditation halls, and the philosophy behind the word is a theory of everything that Ken Wilber writes about. It does not surprise me one bit that Brian McLaren, the leading voice on all things emergent, endorses it. That word is…

“Integral”

Integralism may well be the word and praxis that is soon to follow post-modernism. Post-modernism has done its job in de-constructing. But how to re-construct is another matter! Ingetralism may hold the answer for this seemingly fragmented and pulled apart world.

Emerging postmodernism agrees that modern reductionistic rationalism needed to be stopped or “deconstructed,” and it sees that relativist pluralism “worked” as a chemotherapeutic agent, but it doesn’t mistake this dangerous short-term medical necessity as a long-term regimen for health. It seeks to move beyond relativistic pluralism, and sees “emergent thinking” and “integralism” as better alternatives to both modern reductionistic rationalism and relativist pluralism.
