A treaty is about to be signed to create a New World Order in December

Just found this on facebook thanks to Pastor Corby Stephens. We are at a the last hour of freedom before the world enters into a New World Order. This New World Order has to come about for the anti-christ to rise! It has been prophesied in the book of Daniel and Revelation.

Here is the video which is a must see. And I have just copied and pasted some more information that was found at the youtube site for you to go through.

So watch and take in what is being said here…

On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN on the subject of global warming. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty that is scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.

A draft of the treaty can be read here:

http://www.globalclimatescam.com/docu…

Chuck Norris has an article in WorldNetDaily with a good analysis of the treaty:

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE….

There has been considerable debate raised about Monckton’s conclusion that the Copenhagen Treaty would cede US sovereignty. His comments appear to be based upon his interpretation of the The Supremacy Clause in the US Constitution (Article VI, paragraph 2). This clause establishes the Constitution, Federal Statutes, and U.S. TREATIES as the supreme law of the land. Concerns have been raised in the past that a particularly ambitious treaty may supersede the US Constitution. In the 1950s, a constitutional amendment, known as the Bricker Amendment, was proposed in response to such fears, but it failed to pass. You can read more about the Bricker Amendment in a 1953 Time Magazine article:

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/art…,9171,806676-1,00.html

Lord Monckton served as a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educate the public about the myth of global warming.

Swine Flu – Big Business, Big Government…

image

I found this pdf file written by Andrew Bosworth, Ph.D. and it makes for some VERY interesting reading.

If the current H1N1 swine flu virus does become abnormally lethal, there would be three leading explanations: first, that the virus was accidentally released, or escaped, from a laboratory; second, that a disgruntled lab employee unleashed the virus (as happened, according to the official version of events, with the 2001 anthrax attack); or third, that a group, corporation or government agency intentionally released the virus in the interests of profit and power.

Interestingly, numerous doctors and scientists suspect that the swine flu virus was cultured in a laboratory. A mainstream Australian virologist, Adrian Gibbs – who was one of the first to analyze the genetic properties of the 2009 swine flu – believes that scientists accidentally created the H1N1 virus while producing vaccines. And Dr. John Carlo, Dallas Co. Medical Director, "This strain of swine influenza that’s been cultured in a laboratory is something that’s not been seen anywhere actually in the United States and the world, so this is actually a new strain of influenza that’s been identified."(4) Because of this, the 2009 swine flu virus — which has yet to be detected in any animals — has a rather suspicious pedigree.

Dr. Bosworth has written a book called Biotech Empire which basically write from a constitutionalist and libertarian perspective. The book explains how the United States, which produced the Bill of Rights and landed a man on the moon, is now distinguished by mass surveillance, mass conditioning and mass incarceration. Big Business and Big Government – motivated by perpetual profits and unlimited power – are creating a high-tech Gilded Age: a "Biotech Empire."

This book’s perspective is both libertarian and populist: libertarian in its distrust of government and populist in its distrust of corporate oligarchies. It holds that ordinary people, instead of being ensnared in a matrix of economic and political control, should have a say about how biotechnology affects their lives.

The writing is critical of Democrats, whose cosmetic reforms serve entrenched interests; it also savages Republicans, whose party is famous for corporate welfare, voter suppression, fear mongering, nonstop propaganda, counterfeit Christianity, and Guantanamo.

Biblical Prophecy – it’s cyclical…

prophecy I have been learning from Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries for over ten years now. The one thing that I’m forever grateful is for the teaching on Midrash and its applications. You can see cyclical biblical patterns and glean from them and see that they foreshadow what will happen before Christ comes again.

The first time I ever went to see Jacob Prasch speak I was introduced to this and I was absolutely floored! I basically had a light bulb moment right there sitting in this old inner city Church of about 20 or so people. Now, whenever I read my bible I completely understand that it is truly the living word even for us today.  Understanding patterns and typology has opened a whole new dimension for me and the depth of this is quite staggering.

Jacob Prasch points out that if you want to know what happens in the ‘last days’ Church then read what happened to the first Church outlined in the New Testament. He also said that certain biblical prophecy has been fulfilled yet it recapitulates towards the ultimate fulfillment. Using this type of methodology you can actually be a preterist and a futurist at the same time.

The article that I read today deals with the topic of Christ before His first coming which actually shows us what to expect and how to recognise the signs of His second coming…

One of the repeated teachings at Moriel is that prophecy is not so much about the fulfillment of specific events at a specific pre-set date and time as much as it is really patterns which repeat themselves, growing ever stronger until their last, ultimate fulfillment. That is why a lot of what we understand about Christ’s Second Coming is foreshadowed – a pattern – revealed during His First Coming. Learning as much as we can about His First Coming teaches a great deal about how things will ultimately take place at His Second Coming. And I have a very strong suspicion that we are seeing some of these things taking place right now. The religious authorities of the day knew Scripture so well that without hesitation they answered the Magis’ question about the Messiah, but like many today, they were completely blind to actually seeing it take place. An Essay Concerning Giants, by Dr. Thomas Molyneux M.D., Philosophical Transactions 1700-Taking the Logic out of Mythological

essay-giants1

Here is a little bit of information I came across today about some Gigantic human bones that had been found and studied sometime back in 1700. They were brought to the attention of Dr. Thomas Molyneux, M. D., Fellow of the King and Queens College of Physicians in Ireland and of the Royal Society in England”.

Biblically of course Giants existed. They are recorded throughout the Old Testament and giants have been documented in other cultures too!

The essay was first published in “The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society”…

The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, or Phil. Trans., is a scientific journal published by the Royal Society. Begun in 1665, it is the oldest scientific journal printed in the English-speaking world and the second oldest in the world, after the French Journal des sçavans.

It has remained in continuous publication ever since 1665, making it the world’s longest running scientific journal. The use of the word “philosophical” in the title derives from the phrase “natural philosophy”, which was the equivalent of what we would now generically call “science”.

Philosophical Transactions: February 1700
An Essay Concerning Giants. Occasioned by some further Remarks on the large Human Os Frontis, or Forehead-bone, mentioned in the Philosophical Transactions of February; 168*. Number 168 By Dr. Thomas Molyneux, M.D. Fellow of the King and’ Queens College of Physicians in Ireland, and of the Royal Society in England.

Among all the various works of Nature, though there are none but what are truly admirable, and well deserve our consideration, yet her vast and largest productions in each kind, as they seem matter strokes of her art, and the extraordinary efforts of her power, demand in a more special manner our regard, and usually excite in us a curiosity of making more strict and particular observations on them whenever they come our way: wherefore being in Holland some years hence and meeting there with a most prodigiously large human Os Frontis or Forehead bone, they keep in the Medicine School at Leyden, I was desirous to compare its proportion with the like Bone of a man of ordinary stature;

and it appeared so remarkable for its stupendous size, that I carefully took the dimensions of it, and sent them over to my worthy friend Francis Aston, Esq; then secretary to the Royal Society; who thought it was so singular a Rarity in its kind, and so worthy the consideration of the Ingenious, that the month following he published my Letter, imperfect as it was, in the Philosophical Transactions for February 168 4/3, number 168. The s8intcom Blogger » Arsip blog » An Essay Concerning Giants, by Dr. Thomas Molyneux M.D., Philosophical Transactions 1700-Taking the Logic out of Mythological

A very interesting read. At the end of the post there is an online book that you can access to read the rest of this essay written by Dr. Thomas Molyneus M.D.,

Is Israel God’s unfinished business?

Not sure if you know this, but Calvin L Smith has his own personal blog and has been busily putting together many posts on the subject that interests him at the moment. That interest is about Israel and her prophetic role for today. He also does an excellent job in discussing the New Supersessionists in his book which you can find HERE.

Anyway, he has written quite a few posts on this often heated debate regarding Israel and is just itching for some feedback!

In this particular post he starts with the historical Church and her reaction to 2nd century Judaism…

The Church’s reaction to anti-Christian Judaism in the second century caused it to emphasise some aspects of the canonical narrative at the expense of others. In short, the New Testament was elevated and the Old Testament relegated. Naturally, this demotion of the Jewish Scriptures also downgraded the theological importance of Israel, which features so prominently in the Old Testament. Soulen refers to this relegation of Israel as “structural supercessionism” (supercessionism, also known as replacement theology, is the theological position which argues that the Church has superceded Israel as the people of God). Soulen also identifies other forms of supercessionism (economic and punitive) in his book.

[…]My own position focuses on and traces the Jewish people as a biblical theology theme, rather than the land. As such, this focus on people not land permits me, theoretically at least, to entertain the possibility of exchanging some land for peace. [source]

I have been over to his site to comment that is waiting for approval, but I have to ask him…

So, I am wondering if you [Calvin] think that the current gathering of Jews into Israel the land is not currently fulfilling biblical prophecy? Or are they being gathered in unbelief ready to be judged because of their unbelief? Israel-God's

The way I see it, they have been returning to their promised land for a purpose, not because they deserve it. Perhaps that purpose is to drive them back to Mosaic Judaism which in turn will teach them about the fulfilment found only in their Messiah Jesus. The judgement of their unbelief is outlined in Zech 13:

Zec 13:7  "Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me," declares the LORD of hosts. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.
Zec 13:8  In the whole land, declares the LORD, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive.
Zec 13:9  And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’"

On a side note in verse 7 the ESV says that God will turn His hand against the little ones… yet in other translations it says "upon" a big difference depending on how you read it.

Anyway, I think that the Hand of God is "upon" these little ones, perhaps referring to those who are the true Israel, the remnant.

Not sure?

After the fire and persecution/judgement it does say that they will call upon God’s name and they will be His people and He will be their God.

This is when All Israel will be saved, right?

I can’t wait for him to answer and perhaps then I can try and understand the prophetic time table more!

Have your own say, and make sure you read his post to find exactly where Calvin is coming from. Here’s his post called: Consulation Paper: A Christian View of Israel

Cheers

Luke 21:24 – Has it REALLY been fulfilled???

Calvin Smith has a new, personal blog! You can find it HERE. It is one that you simply must go and check out and blogroll!!!I will be adding his blog to my blogroll.

I know Calvin personally, and he is probably one of the most intelligent people I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. He has this knack of being able to ask the big questions for great discussion without it becoming a slanging match – especially when it comes to the topic of Israel, Palestine, Christian Zionism and Supersessionism.

When he argues a point he doesn’t use polemical and polarised views which is very important for theological and eschatological discussion. He really is open to Constructive debate about many issues.

The post I am linking to is about the well known verse found in Luke:

Luk 21:24  They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

He has a simple question to ask you…

All I am asking is this: can Bible-believing Christians say with certainty Luke 21:24 has been fulfilled and we are indeed in the last times?

Go over to his post called “Beware an overly dogmatic interpretation of Luke 21:24”, give it a read and some careful consideration and see if you agree or disagree with him. I dare you!!!

One thing for sure, it will challenge you!

Temple building — Jewish hopes vs Islamic vow — What does the bible say?

A statement by the Mufti in Jerusalem to thousands of Moslem children that there will never be a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is contradictory to Bible prophecy for the End Times.

As the controversy over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem intensifies, the Mufti, a high ranking Moslem cleric, Sheik Sabri, told up to ten thousand Moslem children recently gathered on the Temple Mount that they must defend Al Aqsa and never allow the Jews to rebuild their Temple on this sacred site. For the Mufti to tell thousands of Moslem children that the Jews must not be allowed to build a Temple on the Temple Mount is in total contradiction of what God’s Word reveals for the End Times.

Jesus Christ said there would be a Temple on the Temple Mount, Matthew 24:15. Apostles Paul and John said one day a Jewish Temple would be rebuilt in Jerusalem, II Thessalonians 2:4 and Revelation 11:1-2. These passages of Scripture speak of the next Temple to stand in Jerusalem, the Tribulation Temple, and all preparations have been made for that Temple to be erected. The Jews could start construction at any time, but do remember that Zechariah 6:12 tells us that Jesus Himself, will return to the earth and build His Temple which will be there on the Temple Mount forever, Ezekiel 37:26, 28. False Unity – New World Government, not so new…

tower-of-babel1

I have just received the Moriel newsletter today and in newsletter Scott brings to my attention the tower of Babel and how that system is not too unlike the one that is being brought about today…

Scripture teaches us that there is nothing new under the Sun and there is nothing ‘new’ about this idea [New World Order – Global Government] as it is complete rebellion against God and His command to Noah and his descendants after the flood to "’Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.’" (Genesis 9:1) However, man did not listen and sought to congregate on plain in the land of Shinar (Babylon) in defiance of God, led by the first antichrist named Nimrod of which all false religion and religious systems can be traced back to, including his wife Semiramis and father Cush who many consider to be the father of the great apostasy. This is all thoroughly documented in The Two Babylon’s by Alexander Hislop.
At the Tower of Babel, The LORD confused the language of men and created the nations otherwise "’nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.’" (Genesis 11:6) This was actually loving restraint put on us by our maker, yet we men have been trying to return to this original "false unity" ever since God kicked him out.

It just occurred to me that a false unity coupled with political correctness, which therefore gags the salvation message which is only found in Messiah Jesus; this gospel, within this system, would be considered redundant and even irrelevant!

Inside such a system it would be very hard to spread the salvific message if there is false unity where everyone remains unchallenged and seemingly happy walking their own path to their God (or gods) all the while remaining in their sin?

Just putting it out there!

Sodom – Why was it really destroyed?

sodom-and-gomorrah I have heard it said that homosexuality was not the real reason behind God destroying this city and all who lived within it. Usually this is said by those who practice homosexuality. But is this true?

Check out this post at LaVrai.com and consider the biblical meaning behind the word “Abomination”…

In Ezekiel 16 we read:

49Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

We’ve just read that the people of Sodom  practiced numerous sins, including “abomination”…[source]

Read the rest to understand the truth about why God destroyed this city.

On a side note, did you know that there is evidence of this destruction taking place?

The interesting thing is that sulphur balls, traces of melted rock and layered ash that has now become hard can be found at the biblical site of Sodom & Gomorrah even today. If you are interested in archaeology this site has some very interesting tid-bits of info with some very interesting pictures.

"Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens"  Genesis 19:24.  "Turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly"  II Peter 2:6.  (The word for "example" means an exhibit for warning.)

Mike’s on fire lately…

Just been over to one of my faves, and Mike [Calvary Chapel Pastor and all-round-cool-guy] has written two posts that are worth reading.

One is about the ludicrous Iranian Government and how the family of a gunned down protester has to pay a bullet-fee of $3000!

But he doesn’t leave it there. Critical of both the old Bush administration and now Obama’s silence he says…

And still utter, absolute silence from the Obama administration.

Condemn Israel when she tries to defend herself, all the while bending over backwards to limit civilian casualties to the absolute minimum…but zip the lip in condemning a government run by followers of the Religion of Peace.

Bush Part 2 was not a good president; under his watch, all the good done by the Reagan revolution was cheerfully dismantled, and we inherited an even more massive expansion of government than FDR ever could hope to achieve in his wildest dreams.  Even still, I’m quite certain that Bush wouldn’t be sitting very, very still over this, hoping the American public either ignored this whole ugly mess or ignored his utter inaction over it.  He at least had the guts to stand up to the Ayatollah and his guy Ahmadinejad.

What the Iranian government is doing is despicable. What our own government is doing (or, more to the point, very studiously not doing) is utterly unconscionable.

The other post is a pretty good one too!

Let me be very clear: I am a Zionist. Absolutely, unrepentantly, completely behind Israel and the Jewish people. Not only for theological reasons (though those of course are paramount) but for political reasons as well; Israel is the only nation in a very strategic, very volatile region which doesn’t hate our guts and consider us the “Great Satan.”

So, I am a Christian Zionist. Deal with it.

That being said, as with most things, it’s important to strike a balance between extremes. […]

Mike, you struck a nice balance with that post. Well done!

The New Calvinism – 10 Ideas Changing the World Right Now

I found this today. It’s about the 10 top ideas that are changing the world right now. Number 3 is the New Calvinism…

Calvinism is back, and not just musically. John Calvin’s 16th century reply to medieval Catholicism’s buy-your-way-out-of-purgatory excesses is Evangelicalism’s latest success story, complete with an utterly sovereign and micromanaging deity, sinful and puny humanity, and the combination’s logical consequence, predestination: the belief that before time’s dawn, God decided whom he would save (or not), unaffected by any subsequent human action or decision.Read more at – 3. Israel, Racism and Ethnicity…

A reasoned response to the following question…

Is modern Israel a racist country? It is a charge frequently levelled at the Jewish state by the political left, which accuses it of apartheid practices. Unfortunately, this language is increasingly echoed among some anti-Israel Christians. I suspect many people using such language are either ideologically driven (it doesn’t matter what Israel does, they will always be targeted), or else they have not visited Israel and are totally unaware of the reality on the ground. Calvin Smith … The Church and Israel

Calvin Smith who released a new book recently called “The Jews, Modern Israel and the New Supercessionism: Resources for Christians” has written a few blog posts to address some issues on the topic of Israel the Church and the new supercessionism. Below is the first part of the blog posts, these posts can be found under the category “The Church and Israel”…

Have you noticed how the favourite maxim (nay, mantra) of some of those who espouse supercessionism and reject the view the Jews and Israel somehow retain a special role as God’s chosen people claim such a view is racist? Do a bit of research and dig a little and you’ll see it is a favourite ploy by the new supercessionists. In these New Testament times – they say – the time of the new covenant, God shows no favouritism. Therefore, any view that singles out the Jews as God’s chosen people is a racist theology. Thus they claim “God is not a racist.” [source]

The title of this particular post is a clever one, “God is no longer a racist”. Does that imply that He once was? Check out Calvin’s post to see where he is coming from!

Netanyahu will Try to Rebuild the Jewish Temple…

This news really does fit in with biblical prophecy…

third-temple-LRaad Salah: Netanyahu will Try to Rebuild the Jewish Temple by Gil Ronen (IsraelNN.com) Sheikh Raad Salah, leader of the Northern Wing of the Islamic Movement in Israel, believes Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will try to rebuild the Jewish Temple. Read more at – Raad Salah: Netanyahu will Try to Rebuild the Jewish Temple – Defense/Middle East – Israel News – Israel National News

Apparently Netanyahu has never said such a thing, so you have to ask why this was said by Raad Salah? He goes on to say…

The solution to “the threat against Jerusalem,” according to Salah, is a complete mobilization of the Arab world, including the religious imams, who need to act and “recruit the masses.” He asked Muslim scholars to pronounce edicts that will force “the Muslim nation and its leaders to confront their duty towards the problem of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa.”

“A thousand politicians can talk without changing a thing,” Salah said. ‘One religious sage can do what the politicians cannot carry out."

That kinda sums it all up doesn’t it? Need I say more!

The difference between Muhammad and Jesus…

mohammed-with-sword

Read this article and you will learn that there is a very clear difference between Jesus and Muhammad.

World Factbook, the world’s 6.5 billion people are 33.32 percent Christian and 21.01 percent Muslim. If a computer acts up, the technician resets it to the default settings it had when it left the factory. If followers of a religion act up, one should examine the default settings the religion had when it left its founder. One can examine the life of Jesus from the four Gospels. One can examine the life of Muhammad from the Quran, Hadith and sources like the Sirat Rasul Allah.

In 1861, Sir William Muir published an English translation, “The Life of Mahomet.” Edward Rehatsek’s translation, edited by Michael Edwardes, was presented to the Royal Asiatic Society of London in 1898. Oxford University published Alfred Guillaume’s translation in 1955. A review of these resources reveal: Jesus was a religious leader. Muhammad was religious leader and a military leader. Jesus never killed anyone.

All of the caliphs who followed Muhammad led armies. (Caliphs Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Muawiyya, the Umayyads, the Abbasids, etc.) In the first 300 years of Christianity, there were 10 major Roman persecutions, and Christians were fed to lions in the Colosseum. [source]

The press interview with President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu…

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Well, listen, I first of all want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for making this visit. I think we had a extraordinarily productive series of conversations, not only between the two of us but also at the staff and agency levels.

Obviously this reflects the extraordinary relationship, the special relationship between the United States and Israel. It is a stalwart ally of the United States. We have historical ties, emotional ties. As the only true democracy of the Middle East it is a source of admiration and inspiration for the American people.

I have said from the outset that when it comes to my policies towards Israel and the Middle East that Israel’s security is paramount, and I repeated that to Prime Minister Netanyahu. It is in U.S. national security interests to assure that Israel’s security as an independent Jewish state is maintained.

The rebuilding of Babylon…

Just quickly, this….

According to the World Monuments Fund’s Web site: This initiative has been supported by the United States Department of State, The J.M. Kaplan Fund, The National Endowment for the Humanities, UNESCO, and The Annenberg Foundation.

Why on earth would anyone want to rebuild Babylon… and why would the Obama administration be so interested in helping out?

For those of us who thought the Holy Bible was only referring to a “spiritual” Babylon in the end time, may have to think again. There very well may be a literal, physical Babylon to be destroyed. [source]

The material often reflects the spiritual. So it would not surprise me if this rebuilding of the actual site is a reflection of the spiritual Babylon being rebuilt in the minds and hearts of man.

Worth posting…

In light of my last few posts, I think Jan Markell sums it up pretty well…

More of the Inconvenient Truth
By Jan Markell

No matter how you cut it, I am an outcast. To the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), I am a right-wing extremist. I am suspect because I am pro-life, pro-family, anti-illegal immigration, pro-U.S. sovereignty, study the end-times and thus might be part of the militia movement, and I trust returning war vets. Thankfully, DHS head, Janet Napolitano, gave a partial apology to the last mentioned.
But now I fall into another guilty category: I am a friend of Israel, also known as a Christian Zionist. Church of England priest Stephen Sizer has written another vitriolic book, this time titled, Zion’s Christian Soldiers. Suggesting we are like the Crusaders, Sizer warns that pro-Israel U.S. evangelicals have monstrously distorted the Middle East by aligning America with Israel. Sizer states, "In its worst forms, Christian Zionism uses the Bible to justify racial superiority, land expropriation, colonial settlements, the denial of international law, and the dehumanization of Arabs."

Unfortunately Sizer represents a more conservative wing of the Church of England and thus has a platform in places he should not.  One such platform is the radio program of the so-called "Bible Answerman" Hank Hanegraaff. Hank is adept in some areas of apologetics and has a radio audience in the millions. Christians who call his daily program remind him that he has revolutionized their spiritual life. I am not sure we want this kind of revolution as he echoes Sizer’s sentiments. Additionally, Hanegraaff is a Preterist, believing all end-time prophecy happened in 70 AD and Nero was the antichrist. That theology puts my brain in a pretzel as I don’t want to look at prophecy in a rear-view mirror!
Sizer suggests that the reason Britain and America have become the focus of so much hatred from the Islamic world is because these two nations perpetrate "the most influential and destructive movement among Christians today: Christian Zionism."  I wonder why this movement is ridiculed when there is a commandment in the Bible to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6)?
A previous book by Sizer is titled, Christian Zionism: Road Map to Armageddon. The mantra is the same: Friends of Israel will lead the world into total doom.

Who else is on this vitriolic bandwagon? None other than some Emergent Church leaders including Brian McLaren and his followers in the religious Left. In Jim Wallis’ April edition of Sojourners Magazine, McLaren states that Christians like me are "terrible," "deadly," and "distorted."  He likens my belief system to the racism of the 1950s and 1960s. McLaren is outraged that Israel might be a special nation to the Lord. Both McLaren and Jim Wallis are "advisors" to Barack Obama, who will likely throw Israel under the bus when he meets with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu next week. Keep this important meeting in prayer. Israeli intelligence admits, in writing, "Under Obama’s policies, we are irrelevant. We have become an obstacle." How will Bibi deal with this?

We can’t leave out Tony Campolo who says in his book Speaking My Mind that the good people who follow a ministry like mine are "rigid" and are "the real problem for the whole world." Those who look at the last days, which include a heavy emphasis on Israel, "are to blame for wars and a host of other evils." Campolo was one of Bill Clinton’s "advisors."  We are dealing with high profile people here, not obscure folks who can be easily marginalized and ignored.
Also among this critical legion includes a pastor in my hometown of Minneapolis. He is Pastor John Piper, lauded for his many books and mushrooming churches in this area. His sentiment is quite well known. He does not believe the Jews even deserve their land due to their unbelief. He states in a sermon from March 2004, "The promises made to Abraham, including the promise of the land, will be inherited as an everlasting gift only by true, spiritual Israel, not disobedient, unbelieving Israel. Being born Jewish does not make one an heir of the promise — neither the promise of the land nor any other promise."

Ezekiel makes this pretty clear in chapter 37: The Jews return to the land in unbelief and then God begins a spiritual work in their hearts. What is so complicated about that?

I’ll stand by Israel because our Messiah is Jewish, the writers of our blessed book called the Bible were Jewish, and "salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22). The roots of Christianity are Jewish, thus the olive tree (Romans 9-10-11). Her critics are in the millions. Her friends are a tiny minority, scoffed at by the intellectuals and scolded by the religious Left and other liberals of all persuasion. I wish we did, indeed, have the power they claim we have.

If you find yourself in this tiny club, welcome aboard. Our crimes are praying for Israel, attending a "Bless Israel" rally now and then, spending our tourist dollars there, and educating the church that her roots come from the Jews. For this we are vilified. Yet at least 10% of my e-mail list will unsubscribe because I have touched their anointed one. I have a reputation for telling the inconvenient truth, but it is the truth.
So, I confess: I am a terrorist after all. I’m a right-wing extemist with no apologies. I’m a Christian Zionist capable of bringing on Armageddon and the end of the world. And I can’t make this stuff up. This is truly what many people believe today!

Return Of The Nephilim: Chuck Missler 9/12

Num 13:33  And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

One of the most biblically concise explanations regarding the Nephilim.

  • Make the pastor preach to the choir!

The “emerging church” is a representative designation for a growing ethos or way of thinking among many dissatisfied Christians (primarily those in Protestantism). • Does the Gospel According to Calvinism Offer Salvation to Anyone at all?
Dr. Picirilli thinks not. After making the point that Calvinists believe that those reprobates who hear the gospel cannot truly respond to the offer of salvation, he further observes that, Furthermore, in the Calvinistic system, the gospel is not really offering salvation to any, since neither the elect nor the non-elect can accept the offer or meet its cond […]

The phrase “Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement” sounds innocent enough. Who could be against such an agreement? But once unleashed, such an assault on freedom will know no bounds. What if [...]
