Author Gary Bates went a saw a movie called “The Fourth Kind” which is a documentary/drama about alien abduction. He has been one of few Christians that has extensively researched this topic. He has written a review about this movie which is worth a read as it clearly explains that there is something spiritual happening to people which he does not deny.
But are these encounters aliens from another world or are they something far more sinister?
The portrayal of the scarred Tyler is harrowing, though. Although this may be a fictional account, the reality of such seriously damaged people is only too evident to those involved in abduction research. It is the real evidence of altered and broken lives that is only too recognizable as the fruit of the evil one using such deceptive and destructive practices to spite His Creator and turn the very subjects that God loves away from Him. Sadly, this fact is lost on secular researchers. Amazingly, the last scene with Tyler is extremely revealing. Her interviewer asks, “You said they claim to be God” (one entity was recorded saying these words in the movie). Tyler responds and says, “No, they
A grand illusion
People are not being abducted by aliens.
Nor have advanced extraterrestrial races evolved on other planets.
Nor has God created such races of extraterrestrials. However, many people are having real experiences at the hands of deceptive fallen angels and demons. These entities are creating an elaborate charade that undergirds (and is undergirded by) the theory of evolution which also undermines God’s rightful place as King of the universe. The experience can be real, but the charade is not. As some well-known Christian commentators also noted:“… how credible is it to think that literally thousands of extraterrestrials would fly millions or billions of light-years simply to teach New Age philosophy, deny Christianity, and support the occult. . . . Why would they consistently lie about things which we know are true, and why would they purposefully deceive their contacts?”
One thing he writes and something that I totally agree with, is that the Church should have answers for these people who have been so traumatised by their experiences with these deceptive beings.
He writes…
This area of spiritual warfare should be “bread and butter” for the church. It grieves me that many leaders do not know how to reach, and are not even willing to try and understand what is happening to, these people. A loving church that could embrace and explain this phenomenon will have people turning up at its door for answers. Unfortunately, most experiencers that I have met have felt shunned by the church. Instead, they seek the assistance of those in the UFO community who, sadly, will only reinforce the lie that they are being visited by highly evolved benevolent beings from another planet.
A must read article called The Fourth Kind!

I’ll read the article in a moment but the title caught my mind. My hubby and I have our thoughts on aliens… He tends to think they are real and are out there but I disagree. I think that ‘they’ have been out there since the fall of angels. The fallen tend to be whatever humanity wants them to be, and since there has been such a mass migration from religion to science, that is the form they take now… aliens instead of gods and goddesses… but that is my theory. Seeing previews of this movie are very eerie to me but not b/c it looks like something alien but rather something demonic. I do want to see this movie though! It’ll generate lots of conversation for my hubby and I!
(clarification: he does believe in Christ more than science and knows that demons are real – but for some reason he does like the idea that aliens exist. There is always the possibility that they do, but I feel if they do, they are no more technologically advanced than we are).
The author Gary Bates is spot on with his assessment in regards to aliens. He says that everyone views things through their own worldly perspective. As Christians, we should view everything through the revealed Word of God. Demons exist and they are really good at deception. I have no doubt whatsoever that demons are masquarading as aliens today.
I have read Gary Bates book which is called Aliens Intrusion – UFOs and the evolution connection.

It is one of the best books I have read on the subject. He is not scared to talk about this issue, sooo many other Christians really don’t want to. But I believe the Church should have the answers to people questions in regards to UFOs and Aliens.
The scary thing is that there is a move within Christendom that directs people towards eastern meditation and experiencing communion with god [and I use the little 'g' on purpose]to get revealed knowledge. Dr. Stephen Greer spoke about what you should do if you come across a close encounter of the third kind. He said that you should not panic, meditate and centre yourself into a non-locality consciousness and what he means by that is that you can learn how to centre your consciousness into a universal constant. I bet that sounds familiar to those of you who have been researching the emerging church movement??? He goes on to say that you must do this to invite them to come over and open up a spirit of dialogue!
Much more could be said about the connection between the mystic church and the spirit behind such encounters with spiritual entities claiming to be god or sent by god to enlighten us. A seduction of sorts is taking place.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Yeah, there is a reason that knowledge isn’t given to us readily by Him and I have no real desire to seek it out. Now I’m not saying I’m not tempted to obtain extra knowledge and communication but I refuse to give into it. I did once and the outcome wasn’t pretty. Thankfully I’m too manic to meditate – prayer doesn’t take as much effort so that’s easy! LOL
I love how people think we are nuts and something of concern b/c we don’t want to meditate a demon into ourselves but they have noooo probs with letting aliens in their heads…
LOL….I certainly do NOT want a doorway open to allow unclean spirits with unclean knowledge into my head either. I am afraid that the Church is told to do contemplative/lectio divina prayer which is as New Age as you can get!
I was saved out of this, I certainly don’t want to go back to it. I was part of something twenty years ago that involved Christian spiritualism/mysticism, and I can see that with the emergent/emerging movement entering the Church that I was way ahead of the times as far as that goes. hahaha
I’m so glad to hear that you were able to get away from it and come to the Truth! You are truly reaching out and doing God’s will!
I’m not sure I am. I actually avoid talking about religion in general sometimes. I’m just not there yet, but you do it beautifully!
Thx again for your posts!
Blood Red… what kind words you speak. I am sure you will recognise when to speak as the Holy Spirit prompts you. Remember that we were all in rebellion and living in sin before we had God’s Grace shown to us. So when we speak to the unsaved we must remember that we were once like them. Because of that we cannot boast in ourselves but only in the work of the cross.
Thanks heaps for the encouragement, I really appreciate it
Sincerely
