Stacey Campbell and her "Wind Illness" the Kundalini Syndrome

A RED FLAG post, yet again!

Firstly, just take a look at the symptoms of “Wind Illness” or Kundalini syndrome. The following is taken from “Kundalini [PDF]” biopranic.com…

These warnings should not be underestimated. A growing body of clinical and psychological literature notes the growing occurrence of meditation-related problems in Western contemplativelife. Among these we find the Kundalini Syndrome (which is presented more closely later in this article) and different forms of “wind illness”described in the Tibetan tradition. Kundalini Syndrome Theorists within the schools of Humanistic psychology, Transpersonal psychology and Near-Death Studies describe a complex pattern of motor functions, sensory, affective and cognitive-hermeneutic symptoms called the Kundalini Syndrome. This psychosomatic arousal and excitation is believed to occur in connection with prolonged and intensive spiritual or contemplative practice[...]

Interdisciplinary dialogues within the mentioned schools of psychology (see references below) have now established some common criteria in order to describe this condition, of which the most prominent feature is a feeling of energy travelling along the spine, or progressing upwards in the body. Motor symptoms are said to include tremors, other spontaneous or involuntary body movements and changes in respiratory function.

This appearance is also referred to as “pranic awakening”. Prana is interpreted as the vital, life-sustaining force in the body. Uplifted, or intensified life-energy is called pranotthana and is supposed to originate from an apparent reservoir of subtle bio-energy at the base of the spine

Now watch Stacey Campbell talk about this energy that churns around in her lower abdomen which proceeds to rise with such force through her spine and out through her mouth…

What about the tongues?

Did you know that those who practice kundalini experience tongues; a nonsensical ecstatic form of speech…

The Kundalini force or life current is said to lie coiled like a serpent at the base of the spine. Indian sages say spiritual development requires that it rise, and when it does, higher states are perceived. It can rise partially or completely to the crown chakra spontaneously, or though meditation, Kundalini yoga, the intervention of a guru, childbirth, or intense lovemaking. In its fiery form, Shakti, it rises up the spine in the conduits of the subtle (etheric) body. It opens and clears the seven spiritual centers (chakras). One may experience rushes of energy, violent shaking, extremes of emotion, and exhibition of “speaking in tongues” or other phenomena. One may encounter beings and archetypes,[...] [Source: Comparison Between Kundalini and the so-called Toronto Blessing]

In fact the above link is one that is well worth the read.

What about the laughter that often accompanies these spiritual moves? And can the kundalini experience be transferred by the touch of a hand?

The laughter associated with ecstatics has been noted by a yoga master who practiced Kundalini, Sri Ramakrishna (1836-1886). At times he experienced uncontrollable laughing and hysteria. He described this supposed god-man conscious that happens in the kundalini experience. He was a Grand Master and had perfected the technique so that the mere touch from this man would transfer the anointing Kundalini experience.

“He daily went into ’samahdi,’ a trance in which one involuntarily falls down unconscious and enters a rapturous state of super-conscious bliss (ananda), complete with beautiful visions and often involving astral projection. These states could last anywhere from a few minutes to several days and were often accompanied by uncontrollable laughter or weeping. He could send others into this state with a single touch to the head or chest” (unpublished article by John Rice on file at SPIRITUAL COUNTERFEITS PROJECT), (citing Warren Smith by permission in an
article for Spiritual Counterfeits Project entitled “HOLY LAUGHTER or Strong Delusion”, Fall, 1994, Vol. 19.2)

Sri Ramakrishna Charismatic and Hindu used the same method of spiritualism FROM THE SUPERNATURAL /DEVIL/ THE LORD OF DARKNESS

The bible says we should be very careful in the practice of laying on of hands with one another. Why? Because we could actually be sharing in someone else’s sin, something that is not pure…

1Ti 5:22 Be laying hands quickly on no one, nor be sharing [or, participating] in sins of others. Be keeping yourself pure.

Interesting to note that some people are calling this the “Third Wind”, I think it is more like the Wind Illness — the Kundalini Syndrome.

  1. David taylor says:

    Hi Vee and Friends,

I was wondering where the information on the Kundulani spirit comes from.

I didn’t find it in the Bible.

Since when have the ideas and claims of a Yogi become the standard by which we measure truth and discern spirits?

I was really blessed by the words that were the culmination of Stacey’s utterance – that the ultimate expression of God’s glory is his mercy and compassion. The manifestations are bizarre – yes – but remember God warned Moses that when he passed by he would be consumed if he did not hide in the cleft of the rock. God’s power would fry our mortal bodies: look at it like this when God show’s up it is a wonder that we don’t disintegrate completely.

    in love

    David
