This is a Red Flag post…

Below is a quote from Todd Bentley and this should wave red flags of caution. The quote comes from a site called “Discerning the World“. This particular article is very good in explaining why this so called move of God is actually a form of dominionism.

Todd Bently said,

“I told the Lord why can’t I just move in healing and forget talking about all that other stuff?”
“Because, Todd, you have to get the people to believe in the angel.”
“I said, God, why do I want people to believe in the angel?”
“Isn’t it about getting people to believe in Jesus?”
“He said, the people already believe in Jesus, but the church doesn’t believe in the supernatural.”

Modern Prophets have received “new revelations” of the end-time which, until now, have not been understood by the Church. Truly, a “New Breed” of Apostles and Prophets is being raised up who will assume their end-time role of leading the Church to take dominion and to execute God’s judgments in the world. Vineyard Ministries Apostle, Jack Deere, believes that the two witnesses in Revelation 11 may very well be Kansas City Prophets, Paul Cain and Bob Jones….

The Church will not conquor the world before Jesus comes. Christ said His kingdom is not of this world…

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would have fought that I might not be delivered up to the Jews. But now My kingdom is not from here.

The Kingdom will not be ushered in with signs and wonders…

Luk 17:20-21 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”

And when Christ does come back, the Church will be in a pitiful state. Christ even questions if there will be any faith left on this world at His second coming…

Luk 18:8 I say to you that He will carry out the avengement of them speedily. But the Son of Man coming then, shall He find faith on the earth?

The word “shall” denotes an answer in the negative…

In the last days we will have to be careful and be long suffering because there will prophets who teach unbiblical doctrines…

2Ti 4:2-4 preach the Word, be urgent in season, out of season, convict, warn, encourage with all long-suffering and teaching. For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up to themselves teachers tickling (itching) the ear; and they will turn away the ear from the truth and will be turned aside to myths.

Biblically speaking we are not to over emphasise angels, even the Holy Spirit points to Jesus and no other…

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

How controversial are all these Sex Sermons that all these seeker-sensitive churches are doing?

Well that all depends on how you look at it.

Did you know that the churches that are doing these Sex Sermons are also the ones manufacturing the controversy?

It’s true. Here is how the chain of events works.

1. Seeker-Sensitive Church decides to use Sex Series to fill empty seats or accelerate growth.

2. Seeker-Sensitive Church picks racy and controversial name for their Sex Series along with racy and controversial sermon titles for each sermon in the series.

3. Seeker-Sensitive Church puts up racy and controversial website for their Sex Series and takes out racy and controversial billboard advertising announcing their racy and controversial Sex Series.

4. Seeker-Sensitive Church simultaneously sends out a press release to the media that talks about ‘the controversy’ surrounding their racy and controversial Sex Series. (this is controversy that they are creating)

In other words, from beginning to end, Seeker-Sensitive Churches manipulate people and manufacture “controversy” in order to make themselves look brave, bold and counter cultural while making their opponents look prissy and legalistic. All of this is done in order to fill seats.

POLICE expect to lay charges after seizing more than 20 photographs from a controversial photo exhibition featuring naked images of young girls.

Rose Bay Local Area Commander Allan Sicard said NSW Police expected to lay charges over the images - taken in a Melbourne studio - by artist Bill Henson, which were to go on display at the Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery in Paddington last night.
The exhibition was shut down just before it was due to open.
“Police are investigating this matter and it is likely that we will proceed to prosecution on the offence of publish an indecent article under the Crimes Act,” he told reporters today.

Police last night raided the Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery in Paddington, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, just hours before the opening of the exhibition by photographer Bill Henson.

The exhibition shows photographs of naked children as young as 12 in a variety of poses - some of which may have been taken up to a decade ago.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd this morning slammed the pictures of naked children as “revolting”.
“I don’t understand why we can’t allow kids just to have their childhood and just enjoy their childhood. I really have a problem with this,” Mr Rudd told the Nine Network this morning.

Gee…Jesus, Paul, Peter and the early church must have had it all wrong. Perhaps Jesus should have ‘drop kicked’ the woman with the issue of blood–or ‘pounced’ on top of the boy who had seizures caused by unclean spirits and choked him. You think Paul may have been a tad confused when all he did was shout ‘Stand upright on thy feet’ to the lame man? Maybe he should have shouted BAM! and throttled him…

The Buzz about Bentley and the Florida Revival is spreading like wild fire, that is obvious. But what exactly is spreading from one person to another, and from one country to another?

One very good article called Kundalini Energy (the effects of Soaking Prayer) speaks about the very close relationship between what is being called “Soaking Prayer” and the eastern practice of awakening the Kundalini serpent.

A very worrying sign was when Todd Bentley said that he used to feel the anointing in his hand, now he feels it in his spine. This sent red flags of warning to many people. A Kundalini teacher speaks about the hand and the energy that can be felt…

The energy travels from the right hand to the left, through centre to recharge and back. Left hand absorbs energy. The energy of crystals can be felt more readily with the left hand.

I have been looking the possibility that a Kundalini spirit, possible the main or head spirit, has masked itself as Christian and infiltrated many charismatic circles and is now in full operation down in Florida and has worked in past in Toronto and Brownsville. Here is a compilation of some of my findings - I think the similarities are more then coincidence - what do you think?

It seems that the more I prayerfully look into Todd Bentley the deeper I am led into his dark world of Gnosticism, mysticism, and the occult. My prayer for you is that you will honestly examine the things he teaches and the manifestations present in his ministry in the light of scripture.

Theorists within the schools of Humanistic psychology, Transpersonal psychology and Near-Death Studies describe a complex pattern of motor functions, sensory, affective and cognitive-hermeneutic symptoms called the Kundalini Syndrome. This psychosomatic arousal and excitation is believed to occur in connection with prolonged and intensive spiritual or contemplative practice (such as meditation or yoga) or as a result of intense life experience or a near encounter with death (such as a near-death experience).

According to these fields of study the Kundalini syndrome is of a different nature than a single Kundalini episode, such as a Kundalini arousal. The Kundalini syndrome is a process that might unfold over several months, or even years. If the accompanying symptoms unfold in an intense manner - that de-stabilizes the person - the process is usually interpreted as what Stanislav Grof has termed “spiritual emergency”

Interdisciplinary dialogues within the mentioned schools of psychology (see references below) have now established some common criteria in order to describe this condition, of which the most prominent feature is a feeling of energy travelling along the spine, or progressing upwards in the body. Motor symptoms are said to include tremors, other spontaneous or involuntary body movements and changes in respiratory function.

I have found an absolutely brilliant youtube, a broadcast of a sermon from Pastor Carter of times square church manhattan. It was the Sunday after 9/11 when this sermon was preached.

It is poignant for us today because as you know there is a religious harlot who is waiting for those who are undiscerning. She entices them to commit spiritual adultery by showing them her material delights. Her bed is scented with myrrh, which symbolises death, and it is during the night that this woman calls for her undiscerning lover.

She is loud and stubborn which translates as rebellious and backslidden. This woman translates in the Hebrew as an adulterous harlot, figuratively it means to commit idolatry (the Jewish people being regarded as the spouse of Jehovah). She says that her husband/goodman is not at home and that he is on a long journey, this of course symbolises Christ.

She seems very religious because she offers peace offerings (religious sacramental offerings/slaughter) and she says that she has payed her vows, but in reality she is after the undiscerning persons life, their actual soul.

Listen to the following snippet of Pastor Carter’s sermon, and heed to the warnings about certain spasmodic revivals, money grabbing Word Faith teachings, and moves of irreligious behaviour that are enticing the flesh which will is all part of this religious harlots plan.

She wants your life, your very soul, and she will do anything to get it!
