"whatever path they may travel,
it leads to me in the end.”

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

"Foolish men talk of religion
in cheap, sentimental words,
leaning on the Scriptures"

1Co 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,
1Co 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1Co 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

Yeah... and God came from Teman as well...text without context is always a pre-text.

Why should the words of the Bible be given any more credence than those of the Qur'an in a discussion such as this? To say that the Bible is correct just because it says so is circular reasoning, and the weakest "logic" of all.

Allow me to bring yet another great religious text into this discussion: Hinduism's 'Bhagavad Gita'. Verse 11 of Chapter 4 (in which the speaker is God) reads:

"However men try to reach me,
I return their love with my love;
whatever path they may travel,
it leads to me in the end."

Another favorite of mine is Chapter 2, Verses 42 and 43:

"Foolish men talk of religion
in cheap, sentimental words,
leaning on the Scriptures: 'God
speaks here, and speaks here alone.'
Driven by desire for pleasure
and power, caught up in ritual,
they strive to gain heaven; but rebirth
is the only result of their striving."

And to counter the point that Allah is supposedly a being of evil, and "Jehova" strictly a being of good, let's not forget Chapter 45, Verse 7 of Isaiah:

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

God is God. Regardless of the names we give Him or paths we tread to reach Him, He waits patiently at the end.
