Friday Peeve
Ok… I just wanted to say — I HATE cleaning my oven.
That is all……………
No that is not all, just let me blow off a little more steam….
Ok, I bought this environmental non-caustic oven cleaner…. Yeah that worked. NOT!!!
I need caustic! I need the hard stuff!!! At this point, after many, many hours of scrubbing and numerous applications of ‘green — stickin — clean’, I really don’t care if ‘Mother Earth Gia’ is poisoned, I just want a sparking clean oven! How uncaring of me, how selfish!
There now, I’ve admitted it and I feel better for it!

Peres dividing the Land!
Dan 5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
I was catching up with some reading at Moriel this morning, and I came across this particular article. I found it to be very thought provoking to say the least. It speaks about PERES and the irony behind the word and the Israeli Presidents name sake.
This verse is part of Daniel’s interpretation of the famous “handwriting on the wall”. In the Aramaic language the word peres can mean both divided and Persia. Daniel used both meanings to decipher the handwriting, predicting that Babylon would be divided and given to the Medes and Persians who were camped outside the city.
In what has to be the ultimate example of God’s irony, the politician most responsible for the disastrous land for peace program is Israeli President Shimon Peres, who would divide the land God gave to Israel and give it to the Palestinians. To read more see here.
It is worth the read because we are coming up to some very important decision making soon to be made in Israel concerning the West Bank and even the Temple Mount…
EU officials are pressuring the US to include it in the agenda for a proposed November Mid-East Peace summit. True to form, PA officials, seeing that they might get their West Bank land, are adding another pre-condition to the negotiations. They now say that Israel must give up all rights to the Temple Mount before any other negotiations can begin. Astonishingly, PM Olmert says he’s considering at least granting joint sovereignty.
Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
