Living Journey

Where is my photoblog you ask!

OK, as you have probably noticed I have been away for some time.  Well, there is a few very good reasons for this.  One reason is that my hubby is having terrible trouble with his back, this is an old injury that reoccurs in the winter months.   The other reason is that I have been getting into photography lately.  I am really enjoying this new found hobby and it has been taking up quite a bit of my time.

I have a new camera which is a digital SLR fujifilm finepix.  To go with that I have a new macro filter, neutral density filter, a polariser filter and I also have a secondhand tripod so that I can get some good night-time shots of city lights.  That is the plan anyway.
It is so much fun because hubby and my youngest daughter really enjoy taking photos and mucking around with them on adobe photoshop.   This new found hobby is currently taking up quite a bit of my time away from my usual writing and researching that I do for this blog.  I haven’t disappeared forever, not at all, just taking a sabbatical of which I am really enjoying.

Anyway, I thought I would share some my new photoblog with you just in case you were interested at looking at some of our shots.  This photoblog has the capability of showing you large pictures and so far is a free site for photographers.  There is a forum which has a wealth of information on it for budding photographers.  At some point I may have to pay for this site, but if any of you know of site that is totally free without having to pay after a certain amount of uploaded photos can you please let me know.

My photoblog is called ‘a still in time‘ and on that site I have only the best photos uploaded.  The photos are queued daily, so it is a little different from content only blogs.  You can only see one photo at at time but you have the archive tab and a previous tab for navigation.

I promise that I haven’t given up on this blog at all.  I know that I will be back writing and pounding my lap top soon.
