1Co 1:21-24 For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing. And since Jews ask for a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom, we, on the other hand, preach Christ crucified (truly an offense to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks), but to the called out ones, both to Jews and to Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;

And Jesus said to the people:

Luk 11:29 And when the multitudes were gathering together unto him, he began to say, This generation is an evil and adulterouss generation: it seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah.

But the people want:

Zeroing in on “what it would take to convert me, he says a church would need to appeal to his sense of reason (Greek - Wisdom), challenge him to think more deeply,[...]

Most important, he states, what would convince him would be “a miracle – an undeniable miracle that has no natural explanation.” (Jew - Sign)

And the New Apostolic Reformation is going to give it to them:

Because of favor, the apostles didn’t have to preach about the resurrection or proclaim it. They gave witness to it–PROOF–a demonstration of their divine authority to heal the sick and cast out demons.

This is where the Church is headed, to that place of giving witness–a demonstration, manifestation, proof, evidence and testimony of personal experience and of victory.

But Paul said:

1Co 2:1-2 And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

And even Jesus Himself replied to those sign seeking people:

Mat 12:37-40 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet: for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

According to the scriptures, do we need reason - do we need signs… or is it the foolishness of the cross that saves?

If you have not read the first part of this post which are the notes taken from a sermon by Jacob J Prasch called ‘The attack on the Remnant’ please do, you can find it here. It will give you a better background. The second part is called ‘Attack on the Remnant - Part two‘ and we left off with how we are to respond to an attack from the enemy.

First response - Do not answer, not a word!

Isa 36:21 But they held their peace, and answered him not a word; for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

So much for dialogue and conversation. We are told not to answer, not a word shall we answer.

Why, because we are never ever, ever to negotiate with the devil! When the temptation comes and when the spiritual seduction comes, the voice we listen to is going to win the fight every time.

“Engagement” means “encourage the enemy;” or at the very least in can mean negotiation.

Jud 1:9 But Michael the archangel, when contending with the Devil, he argued about the body of Moses; he dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy, but said, “Let the Lord rebuke you!”

According to Daniel archangel Michael is the most powerful angel, and even this angel did not argue with the devil, but instead said ‘Let the Lord rebuke you!’

Satan is a defeated enemy, but he is not yet destroyed. He will be destroyed with the breath of Christ’s coming.

Some teaching today states that it is the church that will defeat satan, yet it says in Rom 16:20 ‘The God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet[…]’.

It is not the Church that will do this, but Jesus when he comes again. He will destroy him with the breath of his coming; Jesus will be coming not for a triumphant church but with a triumphant church, the saints.

1Th 3:13 in order to establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and our Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

2Th 2:8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming;

The Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament is the metatron, the same angel that wrestled with Jacob. The Angel of the Lord is a Christophany or Theophany; an Old Testament manifestation of the Messiah, that being Yeshua. A pre-incarnate Jesus destroyed the camp of the enemy in the following verses. It is Jesus who destroys the enemy, not the Church.

Isa 37:36-37 Then the Angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty five thousand in the camp of Assyria. And they rose early in the morning; and, behold! They were all dead corpses. And Sennacherib, king of Assyria, set out, and went and returned; and he lived at Nineveh.

The second response for the remnant that is being attacked.

Isa 36:22 And Eliakim, Hilkiah’s son who was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and Asaph’s son Joah, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their garments torn. And they reported to him the words of the chief of cupbearers. Isa 37:1 And it happened when King Hezekiah heard, he tore his garments and was covered with sackcloth. And he went into the house of Jehovah.

What does tearing their garments mean and how do we apply that to our response?

It means repentance. Sackcloth also means mourning.

One of the reasons God allows temptation and opposition to come against us is because it keeps us in the repentance mode. He uses the enemy to keep us going back to the cross. When we are in real trouble and we really need God to help us because we are in some kind of bind, what is the first thing we become aware of? Our own sinfulness becomes all too apparent. We all of a sudden realise and ask ourselves… Why should you God, answer my prayer, when I did this sin or that sin and can rattle off so many areas in my life that are sinful compared to you… a Holy God?

We have become aware in all truthfulness that God is faithful while we are faithless. We become aware that God is true to His promises and His Word and yet we fail Him every time. God will use the enemy and opposition to keep us repenting and dealing with our old creation. Our old nature makes opposition necessary. In the New Creation when Christ comes again this will not be necessary. In the new millennium it will be balanced, but for the time being we have two natures to contend with and Satan knows how to prey on the old one.

It seems that saved Christians and faithful Christians have more problems than most other people. Why? Because God only corrects His own children. He doesn’t correct others, they are somebody else’s kids, and they remain unresponsive as they do not recognise the authority or the voice of God the Father, they are from another father, the father of lies. Their father gives them anything they want, as long as they stay on the road to Hell they will continue to be spoiled and pandered.

But what are we to do next?

Isa 37:5-6 So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah. And Isaiah said to them, You shall say this to your master, So says Jehovah: Do not fear the words which you have heard, with which the followers of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me

We are told not to fear, we should not fear a defeated enemy. If this enemy is mortally wounded all you have to do, is keep away from him and try to rescue other away from him.

Hezekiah realised that this attack was actually an attack against Jehovah; we are not to take it personally. Satan would like us to think that it is personal, but it isn’t. It’s not about us, Satan is attacking the Lord. Hezekiah spread the complaint before Jehovah.

Isa 37:14-16 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the couriers, and read it. Then Hezekiah went up to the house of Jehovah and spread it before Jehovah. And Hezekiah prayed to Jehovah, saying, O Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, who dwells between the cherubs, You are He, God, You alone to all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made the heavens and the earth.

All the remnant was told to do was to ‘stay on the walls and resist’. But the King of Assyria (a typology of the anti-Christ who is the embodiment of satan) wanted them to come out of Jerusalem, he wanted them to backslide. With bribes he said the following:

Isa 36:8 Now, then, please exchange pledges with my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if you are able to set riders on them for you.

Isa 36:16-17 …For the king of Assyria says this, Make peace with me and come out to me. Then let each eat of his own vine, and each of his own fig tree, and each drink the waters of his own well, until I come and take you to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

We must stand our ground.

In conclusion.

Eph 6:10 For the rest, my brothers, be made powerful in the Lord and in the might of His strength.

Interestingly Hezekiah means “Jehovah is my strength”

How do we stand our ground?

We must put on the full armor of God.

Eph 6:11 Put on all the armor of God, for you to be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil,

The devil is always scheming against true Christians and the true Christian Church. He never rests always roaming the earth and roaring like a wounded lion. Lions are the most dangerous once they have been wounded, they know they are going down, and they will take anyone or anything with them.

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,

And the first thing we must do is stand firm that so we may be able to resist or withstand this enemy. It says again for emphasis that we must take up the full armor. The more something is said in scripture, the more important it is for us to understand. Standing firm is mentioned three times!

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all (having done everything), to stand firm.

It is also important the sequence of armory that we are to put on. Truth is mentioned first! Right doctrine and right teaching comes before anything else. Churches who don’t care anything about correct doctrine either don’t know what they are talking about, or they don’t really care about Jesus, because He is the Truth.

The belt actually holds all the rest of the armor in place! If you don’t have the right doctrine then the rest of the armor is going to fall off. The belt of Truth holds everything together.

Eph 6:14 Therefore, stand firm, ‘having wrapped your waist around with truth,’ and ‘having put on the breastplate of righteousness,’

A warning.

Job 36:12 But if they hearken not, they shall perish by the sword, And they shall die without knowledge

Truth actually comes before righteousness. Why? Because if you don’t know what truth is you won’t know and you cannot discern what righteous conduct is.

Then we are told to put on our feet shoes the preparation of the Gospel of peace.

Eph 6:15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Notice that it is not until you have the right knowledge, the right heart then you put on the shoes. The defensive armament is put on before the defensive armament. Unless you can stand firm and resist the enemy yourself, you cannot rescue others from him.

We are told to stand firm and resist. What can we expect the enemy’s response to this will be? What did the King of Assyria do, he retreated. What are we told the devil will do if we resist him?

A promise.

Jas 4:7 Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

O God, most high, most glorious, the thought of Thine infinite serenity cheers me, for I am toiling and moiling, troubled and distressed, but Thou art for ever at perfect peace. Thy designs cause thee no fear or care of unfulfilment, they stand fast as the eternal hills. Thy power knows no bond, Thy goodness no stint. Thou bringest order out of confusion, and my defeats are Thy victories: The Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

I come to Thee as a sinner with cares and sorrows, to leave every concern entirely to Thee, every sin calling for Christ’s precious blood; revive deep spirituality in my heart; let me live near to the great Shepherd, hear His voice, know its tones, follow its calls. Keep me from deception by causing me to abide in the truth, from harm by helping me to walk in the power of the Spirit. Give me intenser faith in the eternal verities, burning into me by experience the things I know; Let me never be ashamed of the truth of the gospel, that I may bear its reproach, vindicate it, see Jesus as its essence, know in it the power of the Spirit.

Lord, help me, for I am often lukewarm and chill; unbelief mars my confidence, sin makes me forget Thee. Let the weeds that grow in my soul be cut at their roots; grant me to know that I truly live only when I live to Thee, that all else is trifling. Thy presence alone can make me holy, devout, strong and happy. Abide in me, gracious God.

Just a quick post to let you know, that I am sick and have the worst cold and really cannot think to straight, so I doubt I will be blogging much this week. Unless of course these tablets really work, but I really just want to rest and take care of myself.

I will post a photo that my hubby took, one of me and another of foo our cat. We have just bought a new camera, so first is the photo of foo and then the same photo with some effects.

And then some photo’s of me. Hubby was taking all these shots of me and to be honest, they were horrible because I was still in my dressing gown my hair wasn’t done, I felt awful.

‘Oh’… he said ‘don’t worry I am just getting use to the camera’. There are now heaps of photo’s where my skin is saggy and sallow looking because I couldn’t muster a smile. I even have some wild shots where I look like that cat woman off of ‘The Simpsons’. My kids say that I am her, I even peak through the blinds at night time when I hear someone at the door, I can just imagine what I look like peering through the slats of the blinds with my eyes looking around curiously.

Anyway, after I took some tablets and started to feel better I said… ‘If you are going to keep shooting me, then I am putting some makeup on and let’s try to get some good shots, otherwise I will hate you!’.

You may remember some time ago I wrote on Neale Donald Walsch and his connection with Al Gore and Oprah Winfrey in a post called ‘Death is good, Death is fun, Death is good for everyone’.

In that particular post I wrote about the possible ties between Al Gore’s environmentalist agenda and Neale Donald Walsch’s New Age philosophies and also his conversations with Oprah, who by the way, has stated that Walsch is way ahead of the curve. He has a book called ‘Conversations with God’ written in 1996 that Oprah highly endorsed; that book is about his actual conversations with God. Well, he is not the only one having conversations with God, as you will soon see.

Today I am going to write about one of Walsch’s new-age paradigm shifts and where that particular curve may possibly be heading!

In 2003, Walsch enters into the public arena again with a film about a certain special breed of children called the ‘Indigos’. That film explores the ‘Indigo children’ and their talents and their messages that they give to us here on this globe. Their message is often about why they have been sent to us. The messages that come from these kids are for those of us who are considered lower beings, or have lower vibrations with lower astral selves and are not that high on the evolutionary scale of enlightenment. That’s me and possibly you!

The ‘Indigos’ and the ‘Prophetic Samuel Generation’ - is there a connection?

Recently I posted about a certain move within Christendom concerning a new breed of children that are currently being raised up to be the ‘The Samuel Generation’. One ministry doing this is called ‘Kids in Ministry International’. They have pretty much stated on their website; that there are now special children in our world that God can use. ‘Kids in Ministry’ have also said that some people – those being the mystics and the new-agers — have claimed that these may well be the ‘Indigo’ Children’ and that the church needs to steer these spiritual perceptive children toward a more Godly prophetic and healing ministry within the church. See this post here to get a better background. They have often been referred to as the fulfillment of Joel’s Army. Here is an excellent post by Jewel Grewe called ‘Joel’s Army - The New Breed‘. Joel’s Army has nothing to do with a Christian led Army but has everything to do with Locusts sent as a Judgement from God.

This raises some very important questions. What will we be hearing from this ‘Samuel Generation’ this ‘New Breed called Joel’s Army’ and what signs and wonders will follow them? Will it be similar to the messages that we hear from the ‘Ingido Children’ and if so, what will the Church say and do about that? How will the Church discipline these children, will it encourage and continue along this path of turning a blind eye and becoming even more wilfully blind? Can we expect destruction in their wake as Joel 2 testifies! (I predict the answer is yes) What if they start to sound very much like the following messages? I guess time will tell as we hear more and more from the mouths of these babes.

What is the Indigo message?

Let’s examine the messages coming from the ‘Indigo Children’ themselves:

A message from an 8 year old boy in 2005:

Our arrival here is in exact timing for the Earth’s transition into light and love. Just as the movie has many characters, there are also many types of Indigo’s. Indigos and other super conscious children, all tend to have one main Plot which is to assist with times of heavy change…to assist with the earth’s ascension.

You see, I am a being of light. When I speak for myself, I speak for many. We are all INDIGO to a certain extent… some more fully realized than others. We are here with incredible Gifts to honor this earth and its’ people. When the earth feels honored with exquisite love received from its’ people, it will take us to a new level.

That is where we come in. We are here to teach lessons in love and honor.

We are here to bring love directly into the hearts of people so they remember their purpose.

What I really want you to get and understand is that when we proclaim our love for One thing, we are proclaiming our love for ALL things.

There is no division. There is no separation.

WE are a universe with a soul purpose for loving all creation as ONE.

In this, we find consecrated unity of purpose. In this, we find harmony like bees working together in a hive with a cohesive unity of purpose.

 

A Practice that this boy has told the world to do: We must learn to open our Hearts in all situations no matter how dishonorable. To do this breathe life into your heart! First, imagine or remember a time when you can feel the love you have felt in receiving unconditional love. Take a deep breath and inhale inspired air into aortic ventricles. Feel the new air come in, hold and remember experience of unconditional love…give it a color. Now exhale and release unwanted energy.

Repeat 5x/day for 20 days and any time you need to experience it. At the end of day 20, you will now be manifesting love more readily through Heart Chakra.

We know the connection to divinity is through our hearts’ wisdom and intuition; and who know that all changes on earth will come from the healing of the heart, and by allowing the heart’s wisdom to guide our actions. The day I was born,

I met myself.

The day I was born,

I met my young mother.

The day I was born,

I met Christs sleeping in my cradle.

She met Christs? And she happens to be one of them? Is that what she is saying?

She did say that the day she was born she met herself, she was her young mother, and she was Christs and they were sleeping in her cradle. What kind of child has been born here? A babe, a mother and a Christ all in one. Is that how you read this poem? Maybe you read it differently, but that is how I understand the vibe of it.

Another Dimension and the Luciferian Rebellion

Have you heard of the term repersonalization? Apparently these indigo children have existed during many times on our earth– they have gone by many different names in the past– they are sent to repersonalize our planet. This term repersonalization is not to be confused with reincarnation, these children (some of which are adults now) have a higher astral self and a lower rebellious self and they were all included in Lucifer’s fall. I hope you just read me right, (and perhaps you need to read it again!!!) they are acknowledging that these kids are a product of the great rebellion of Satan. Repersonalization means that you have been sent from another universe to another planet to bring us all back into harmony. They are called the first light souls.

Anyway, here is a you-tube that I came across while searching for more information on the ‘Indigos’. This is so dangerous and you just don’t joke about things like this.

Angels, Aliens, Higher Beings - are they all the same thing?

If these poor children have been encouraged to meet visitors in their dreams and the misguided church calls these visitors angels and the new-agers also call these visitors angels, higher-beings or light bearers — and who knows what else — and the UFO-ologist’s call these visitors aliens… then we are in big trouble.

Does this have anything to do with the Evolution of mankind?

The Panspermian hyper-jump - Warp 10 … Engage

There is this theory called panspermia which basically means that Aliens from a different dimension have created us (I say that these aliens are the spawn of the Nephilim or as ‘The book of Enoch’, ‘The book of Jubilee’ and Philo of Alexandria calls them… The Watchers). It fits into the evolutionary theory nicely because it does away with possibility that God created us in His image according the 6 day Genesis account and pushes the evolutionary theory so far into hyper-space and so far out of time that anything is possible, because given enough time ……. anything is possible, if given enought time! I just love that reasoning

I once read a book by Gary Bates called ‘Alien Intrusion – UFOs and the Evolution Connection’. Gary bates is a creationist who saw a clear connection between the great questions that everybody asks themselves — Why, How and When did we get here — and the theory of Aliens dropping their seed into mankind, this is called panspermia.

Why is this important? Because science is now proving more and more that there is an intelligent design behind our DNA and that we are all related to one Mother according to the mitochondrial DNA. Some prominent evolutionists are having to become far more reaching in their belief structure. They are on some kind of ’space/time continuum trip’…. right outta here. Some very influential scientists are grasping more and more at some far fetched answers because they just refuse to believe in the 6 day creation found in Genesis.

There is something going on, something bigger than meets the eye.

Even the UN knows about it!

Even the United Nations has been briefed on this indigo phenomenon and UFO connection. In an article called ‘Evidence of Children’s UFO and Extraterrestrial Encounters to be Presented at a United Nations Affiliated Conference in Montreal’:

After being involved with over 1000 experiencers (alien abductees), a former registered nurse, who is now a professional counselor and clinical hypnotherapist, has concluded that alien “abductions” are not only real encounters, but that they are about spiritual awakening and galactic contact. Mary Rodwell is not alone, as a growing number of academics, scientists and politicians, such as the former Canadian Minister of Defense Hon. Paul Hellyer, are starting to support the core of her paradigm shifting views about life in the Universe and that some UFOs are extraterrestrial spaceships.

This former registered nurse is not the only one to have noticed a change with today’s children. A May 2005 USA Today article quotes James Twyman, producer of films on “Indigo Children”, as saying that a new generation of special children are among us who have increased telepathic abilities and are spiritually awakened.

The name “Indigo Children” comes from a blue indigo colored aura that some people say they can see around these children, as per a January 2006 New York Times article.

I just want to end with a you-tube that speaks about the ‘indigo children’ and how many of them are disturbed at night with dark spirits. Dr Doreen Virtue speaks of crystal children who are levitating toys and are little Harry Potters. The crystal children are seeing angels everywhere, they are the next generation.

By the way … sorry about this being a long post, I may get back to this topic as I have emailed Gary Bates with a few questions and I hope to hear from him when he gets back from his speaking tour in the USA.

Ok, I was just browsing and came across a site called ‘The Journey’ and found that they use Midrash, or should I say claim to use Midrash.

This is how they have explained Midrash:

Midrash is a Hebrew word that simply means “commentary.” We believe that it’s healthy for people of all worldviews and spiritual beliefs to have their ideas and philosophies both challenged and encouraged in a safe, open forum by people who are like-minded or may think differently.

We also acknowledge that we live in a world drenched in God, so pointing out how and where he is already at work or revealing himself to those around us is very natural. We engage various aspects of popular culture: music, theatre, arts, and politics, seeking to have relevant dialogue with people of all backgrounds and beliefs. All events are free and open to the public, different perspectives and opinions are always welcome as we consider many aspects of a given topic or film. @The Journey

Ummm, how about no! This is not midrash! They say they use Midrash for a commentary on culture.

Even Wikipedia is quick to point out that it is the exegetical interpretation of scripture! Not a commentary on Culture!

So much so, that we now have entire classes on it in US High Schools and a whole week dedicated to sex on local college campuses. Are you a sucker for anything sold with sex? Just high-jack the term, change it, make it sound hip and create enough hype and then people in ignorance will be using terminology that has morphed so far away from its original meaning that it will seem that we are all speaking the same words, while graciously nodding in agreement, but in all reality it is a different language because there’s a different meaning.

I have been visiting another site occasionally, and there is a huge debate about whether or not there is such a thing as Christian Yoga and should Yoga be practiced by Christians?

To me, after reading about the root of Yoga and after listening to the sermon ‘Attack on the Remnant part 1 and Part 2‘ I am fully aware that there is such a thing as worshipping the true God in unbiblical ways. I am more convinced than ever that this practice should never be a part of the body of Christ. This practice is not biblical in any way.Yoga is another High Place and if Hezekiah was around today I am sure he would have torn this High Place down too.

Kundalini and Transcendental Meditation is being practiced in Christian Churches today and they have no idea what Kundalini Yoga or TM actually is.

The kundalini lies dormant in most human beings, but when it is awakened it arises and begins to travel upwards. In its journey from the base of the spine to the top of the head it passes through six psychic centres called ‘chakras’. When it passes through a chakra it kindles various psychic experiences and energies. When it reaches the sahasrara, or crown, one attains power to perform miracles and to achieve liberation. @Yoga and New Trends in Christianity

Transcendental Meditation is also another form of yoga and is being practiced by Christians, TM is said to attain ‘god consciousness.’ In this state it is said that one can even communicate with birds, animals, plants and rocks. The final state is ‘unity consciousness’, in which the devotee perceives the oneness of himself with the universe. This is ‘liberation.’ @Yoga and New Trends in Christianity
