Orbs of Light — What next?

Recently I posted about my Dad losing his faith, he now even denies the very existence of God.

My Dad who has been a Christian since before I was born (and I am over 40) has recently told the family that he doubts the very existence of God. Unfortunately, he has been involved with a church that has fallen for the Toronto Blessing and to date that church is still having bad doctrine preached from the pulpit by many international guest speakers.

Dad use to be so grounded years ago, and when we have discussed things in the past, he often shared with me his doubts about the “new move of God” that he was witnessing in the Church he was attending. Sadly, Dad has seen God be pushed around by the demands of man in regards to sicknesses and wealth etc., You know what I mean …. the blab it and grab it gospel. He has witnessed God be bullied around in his own fellowship. He has said to me … ‘What about Gods will, does anyone pray in His will anymore, or do they just demand God to this or do that?”

He has said to the family that he started to lose his faith around 10-12 years ago.

Thinking on it that is when that whole move started in his church.

He has also said that he doesn’t feel (feel being the operative word here) that God has been in his life. Because he has been fed this experiential garbage he figures that he should be feeling what others claim they are feeling. But because he does not; he doubts that there is God, fullstop end of story.

I know and understand that faith has nothing to do with feelings but everything to do with taking God at His Word and believing it. Feelings are fickle, but Gods Word is true. Dad use to be able to argue and debate anyone who doubted in the inerrancy of God’s Word. Now he doesn’t believe in any of it.

Can you please pray!

I know that myself as well as other members of my family have had grave concerns for a long time concerning this church. I also know that my family members are praying for the right opportunity to present itself so to unmask the heresy that has been taught.

This will be discussed at some point in the family but this will certainly put my parents at severe odds with one another. Mum wants Dad to simply come back to the Church, while myself and the other members of my family want my Dad to remember his first love through the Word of God.

Yes my parents are at odds at the moment, but I think that during this time of Dad’s wilderness God can really get him back to His Word and teach him without all the background noise of nonsense.

Just to add to my point. Dad had ceased going to all the international speakers that were basically Holy Rollers, Mum on the other hand, always went with a friend. And I have just found out that these speakers are still getting people to roll in the isles with Holy Laughter etc., I had thought that this sort of behaviour was well and truly over with, obviously it’s not.

I recently went to my parents Church’s website to see who the next big speaker will be and what will be the next big fad to hit that Church. And this is what I have found!

A man by the name of Darrel E. Stott is going to be a guest speaker there in April. You can bet my Mum will be there with bells on.

Do you want to see what is happening in congregations when this Darrel E. Stott preaches … do you want to see what appears with this man as he travels the world?

Yes that’s right! Angels appear as orbs of light, Oh but may I point out that this photo happens to be taken in Alaska where there is snow falling! (now that is interesting).
The promotion on his website says this about Bishop Stott:

“There are many ministers who preach on the Glory of God but Darrel Stott is one of the few who are a carriers of the Glory of God“.

He is a carrier of the Glory of God hey?

Not only that, but if you’re in real need of some jewellery and need a bit of gold to make some, then you can melt together the gold that falls when you get it from one of the meetings! I wonder if they have silver as gold is just not my colour.

Regarding the words of Prophecy … Bishop Stott says this about it:

No one expects a prophet to be 100% accurate but it is reasonable to hold those with a prophetic ministry to some sort of accountability in regards to their directive and foretelling of future events.

Oh … but if the words coming from a prophets mouth are truely from God then wouldn’t they be 100% correct, or is God the liar?

My poor Dad no wonder he is in the wilderness, he hasn’t even been fed Manna, he is starving for real food.

Would anyone notice if you were to die?

I doubt very much that this would happen to me … the dishes in the sink would pile up, the hungry tummy’s would start to rumble, no clean clothes for the family to wear and the animals would be starving!

This has given my a better perspective about my need in the family unit.

Orbs of Light - what will be the next thing?
