I have this WACOM pen and I thought I would try and use it to sketch my oldest daughter. I am pretty happy with it. It was a lot of fun, and having this pen will really help my other daughter with her school projects.

If anyone knows of a site that has a basic tutorial for WACOM, please point me in the right direction. I want to really get to know what this pen is capable of and I would love my younger daughter to use it for her art-work.

Anyway, I hope you like my first picture!

  1. Impressive. :-)
Happy Monday - what’s left of it.

  2. That’s pretty amazing. Now is that something you do free hand or what? Never heard of it.

  3. No, I didn’t do it free hand. My game is up. WACOM is a pad with a pen and you can do all sorts of things with it.

I have been using it to write my Hebrew and as you know I have started to blog about that learning experience and all it has to offer (my head hurts when I think of all I want to learn) :)

And this pen is great for altering photo’s …. I am not sure how to do that yet.

My sister uses her’s and she is a graphic artist. She loves her pen and loves it so much that she has even named it … it is called Mavis.

Mine doesn’t have a name yet, we are at the love hate ralationship stage.

I have hardly touched the surface with its uses yet.  It is another frustrating learning experience I have found!

  4. Cool!
