I have just added an RSS feed from a web-site that aboslutely derseves your attention. The web-site is called ‘Voice of the Martyrs‘ and it has updates on a regular bases about the persecuted church around the globe. I do hope you check it out. Here is an example of what the needs are in the body of Christ all around the world.
Iranian House Churches Request Prayer - VOM sources
Iranian house-church contacts have asked for prayer for the following:
- A satellite radio program is directed toward reaching those under 30, pray for fruit.
- Growing underground churches; ninety-five percent of the members are under age 30.
- Safety and support for pastors
- Underground churches strengthened in God’s Word and safe places to meet
- Seminars and training for house-church leaders and servants
- An Iranian family currently facing persecution
- Pray God will be glorified in every person and situation. Psalm 47:8
Voice of the Martyrs is the Body of Christ acting upon God’s command to “remember those in prison as if you were their fellow-prisoners, and those who are ill-treated as if you yourselves were suffering” (Hebrews 13:3 NIV)
Jesus told His followers to expect persecution: “If they persecuted me,” he forewarned, “they will also persecute you… But all these things they will do to you for my name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent me” (Jn.15:20).
There are faithful followers of Jesus who will not compromise when authorities forbid congregating and evangelising in the name of Christ. They believe that 
“we must obey God rather than man” and suffer the consequences of following Jesus (Acts 4:18-20; 5:27-29). Accepting that Jesus is “the way, and the truth and the life” (Jn. 14:6), his disciples are rejected, ridiculed, threatened and antagonised by other religions and even their own families.
Many are imprisoned; many are tortured; many are martyred. These are our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are their voice, the Voice of the Martyrs.
