Although you may think that you stand alone in your support for Israel and that the world is against you there are some who are speaking up for her. Even some that would have done anything to be rid of all Jews and would have been quite happy to destroy Israel completely. These people have had their hearts changed completely when they have allowed the inspired Holy Scriptures to be their measuring tool against the worlds ideas of what is right or wrong. I thought I would share this email with you. It is interesting to think that when someone becomes truly born again, their whole philosophy on life changes. Even their thoughts on Geography and where the line is drawn is rightly changed.
This man is speaking of Israels right to the land that God promised her and her right to defend it.
With current talk of churches deciding to divest their interests away from God’s people Israel – and with all the slanted media reports going on at the moment concerning the middle eastern conflict between Israel and Iran…wooops I mean Lebanon – I thought this would be something that would encourage us to be mindful and to bring us to prayer.
This email just amplified the truth of Gods Word and the fact that we truly become more Christ-like when we hear the Word of God in Spirit and in Truth.
Unfortunately there are those who would rather think of Gods Word as a mere story or myth written by fallible man about his his own feeble understanding of God.
These people have not been changed and are not discerning things which only the spiritual man can understand, they are still of the natural man, and have not been born of the Spirit, therefore are not born again. There is a difference….and here is a great example of a man truly born again of the Spirit, read and be encouraged:

Kamal Saleem has joined the Walid Shoebat Foundation and is eager to speak to the world about the threat of Islamic terror and advocate for Israel.
Kamal Saleem was born in Lebanon to a prominant Muslim clerical family, and out of sympathy to the Palestinian cause joined the PLO Fatah movement as a child. Later on he joined the PFLP. It is our honor and duty to promote Kamal in the media, because of his background can join us in the current fight for the rights of Israel to defend itself against the evil of Hezbollah terrorists and the media who holds Israel to a different standard.

I’m wondering which particular biography this Kamaal Saleem is using these days. The one he posted on his website, or this other fiction that the Shoebat foundation has posted. Here’s what he says on his website. It’s either two different guys with the same name or a person who is confused about his own identity. Any way you cut it he’s passing himself off as something he isn’t:
Kamal Saleem was born to a large Sunni Muslim family in the heart of the Middle East. Kamal was recruited by the Muslim Brotherhood at a very early age and completed his first mission to Israel at the age of seven. After several years, in his late teems, Kamal was also recruited by the Palestinian Liberation Organization (The PLO) and other radical Muslim groups. The many years of his terrorist training, resulted in Kamal mastering every form of offensive and defensive terrorist tactics.
Kamal left his family and home in the Middle East as a young man to enter his mission field: the United States. He brought with him a tremendous passion to convert as many Christians and Jews as possible for the glory of Allah. He implemented his plan, and converted many people to Islam.
…. Radical Islam is the most clear and present danger to both Christians and Jews in the world as we know it today.
In 1985, Kamal’s world turned upside down when he was seriously injured in an automobile accident. A Christian man tended to Kamal at the accident scene, making sure he got the medical treatment he needed. Kamal’s orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist were also Christian men whom over a period of several months ministered the unconditional love of Jesus Christ to him as he recovered. The love and sacrificial giving of these men caused Kamal to cry out to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob acknowledging his need for the Savior. Kamal has since become a man on a new mission, as an ambassador for the one true and living God, the great I Am, Jehovah God of the Bible.
Kamal has tremendous insight into today’s world situation and a wealth of knowledge concerning the true culture and agenda of Islam. He is well versed in both the Koran and the Holy Bible. He believes radical Islam is the most clear and present danger to both Christians and Jews in the world, as we know it today. Kamal carries a message from God to awaken the church through the truth, education, and relationships.
Kamal and his wife have been married for sixteen years. They have three children and five grandchildren. Eight years ago, his local church ordained Kamal as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He currently teaches and speaks worldwide in churches, Jewish synagogues, Muslim communities, universities and high schools. He has also appeared worldwide on radio and television programs.
The above that you have quoted is the whole biography that is taken from Kamal Saleem’s Website found HERE.
But I can’t find anything on Walid Shoebat’s website that says anything about Kamal Saleem’s biography, let alone anything that counters what Kamal says of himself which you have graciously provided us with.
Perhaps a link to the two different biographies would be helpful.
Actually, I was contrasting it to the post you have above announcing Kamal’s acceptance into the Walid Shoebat organization which says (please see your post above).
1. He became an active terrorist at age 11. His biography says age 7. So which is it?
2. No mention is made here (in the Shoebat organization’s bio) of joining the “Muslim Brotherhood.” The Muslim Brotherhood is an Egyptian organization which does not “recruit children.” In the time frame in which Kamal claims to have been recruited by them they were an underground Egyptian political movement with no active engagement in the Palestinian cause. Someone who is writing his own biography would certainly know this.
This embarrassing item is conveniently left out of the Shoebat organization’s biography as whoever wrote this one obviously realizes that it wouldn’t fly with those who actually know the situation in the Middle East.
3. The PLO is a secular Palestinian national organization. Mixing the Brotherhood with the PLO at the time Kamal says he was involved would simply not have happened. (and what was a Lebanese child doing in Egypt in the first place??). The Islamicist involvement in the Palestinian Liberation movement is a much later development – after the time Kamal said he came to the US. And even then the Brotherhood had nothing to do with it. Another reason why it was conveniently left out of the shorter biography.
The very fact that he says “the PLO (and other radical Muslim groups) shows that he is rather clueless about the situation he is describing as the PLO is not a “radical Muslim group.” Again quite puzzling for someone whose whole life was wrapped up in the Palestinian cause leaving the distinct impression that he has thrown together a mishmash of frightening Middle Eastern images to give people the impression that he was bad to the bone.
Related to this is the fact that it would have been hard to find any Lebanese who were fighting with the Palestinians during the Lebanese civil war.
Like Walid Shoebat’s contrived biography this one simply doesn’t ring true.
4. He “converted many people to Islam?” This is pure fiction. There has never been any mass conversions to Islam from Middle Eastern Muslim missionaries. The only group that has become Muslim in any numbers in America are African Americans and they certanly weren’t converted by Middle Eastern missionaries.
It should also be noted that on several occasions Kamal has said that his purpose was not to convert Christians and Jews to Islam, but to recruit terrorists for his “cause.” THis is quite different from trying to convert “Jews and Christians” to Islam. Two entirely different purposes.
The point is, the guy changes his story according to the audience who for the most part are so ignorant of Middle Eastern culture that they swallow anything he says. And the worse thing is he’s doing all of this in the name of Jesus Christ who calls his people to honesty and truthfulness.

I received the biography from the Shoebat foundation sometime ago.
And I think that these discrepancies need to be cleared up for sure.

The first to speak was Kamal Saleem. A tall, handsome man in a Brooks Brothers suit and tie and an impressive speaker, Saleem looked more like a banker than a terrorist. Central to his presentation was his view that the United States remains insufficiently attentive to the threat of Islamic terrorism. To demonstrate, he began by saying, “I want to show you America on 9/11.” He then went downstage and laid down on the plank floor, suit and all, and pretended to be sleeping. Sitting up, he said, “I want to show you America today after 9/11,” at which point he pretended to hit the snooze button, then went back to sleep. His message was clear: America had yet to awaken to the danger of Islamic terror.
Saleem then recounted his own story. Born a Sunni Muslim in Lebanon, he came from a family that had 14 imams. At the age of six, he was recruited into the Muslim Brotherhood, soon joining the PLO after being inspired by the words of his father, who cited the Koran: “What you do in life should never be small. God will weigh you when you die and you’ll go to hell or heaven,” his father impressed on him.
“I learned to do what was right. I also learned from his reciting the Koran that the Day of Judgment won’t come until the Moslems fight the Jews and Christians,” Saleem said. Saleem recalled how, as a boy, he envisioned himself as an Islamic white knight astride a white horse, leading his Islamic army to kill the infidels. He asked the audience: “What do your children do at six-years-old?”
By age seven, he was training in weaponry, including explosives and anti-personnel mines, and combat. How to slit the throats of Jews was one lesson. Also at seven, he went on his first mission for the PLO, smuggling 100-pound packs of explosives and ammunition into the Golan Heights to shepherds who were working with the terrorists and who were as committed as he to attacking the Jews. “I was hailed a liberator!” he bellowed to the audience.
One day in a PLO training camp, Yasser Arafat had actually praised him and kissed him on the forehead. “I didn’t bathe for two weeks. You can imagine how badly I smelled after training all day,” he said. Arafat told him how Jerusalem was to be their target. “The cleansing of the Jewish blood from Jerusalem, not a state, was our goal. I hated Jews. But I loved Allah. We learned that jihad was our path and what we desired as the highest goal was to be a martyr.” The young Saleem also recruited other children like himself, including a neighbor next door. His parents expressed pride in their noble son.
Saleem lost his best friend, Mohammed, on a mission for the PLO. Mohammed was only six and wounded by Israeli forces that intercepted their mission and group. Saleem recalled how, at 7 years-old, he had put his wounded friend on his back to evacuate him, only to learn Mohammed had been shot several more times, serving as a human shield as Saleem escaped with his life. Mohammed died that day.
I have sent the email, and I hope to hear from them to clear up some of the apparent discrepancies.
I will not address this further until then.

Thanks for taking the time to write back. In reading some of your posts I am struck by the fact that we have much more in common than what separates us. I am a born again Christian whose whole life has been dedicated to proclaiming and living the truly Good News of Christ in a world which so desperately needs that Good News. What
you said about the email related to Kamal above is certainly true:

Unfortunately people like Kamal and others who are out on the anti Muslim circuit have made hatred for their neighbors the mark of their message which has nothing to do with the Spirit of Jesus Christ. And to make matters worse they are weaving a web of lies about their own background which is so transparently false that anyone who has lived in the Middle East for any amount of time knows they aren’t telling the truth.
Unfortunately, too, many who go by the name “Christian Zionist” whose web pages I have been monitoring for some time now have that same spirit of hatred for Muslims and Arabs and Palestinians (which includes Christians) . The message here is that Palestinians have no right to the land of their birth. In fact they are often portrayed as less than human. The conflict in Israel is always seen not as a dispute between two peoples over land but a battle between God and Satan with the Palestinians on Satan’s side. Compare that with this wonderful piece that I just received in the mail from an Israeli Jew who is truly interested in finding a way to bring about reconciliation and peace in the Holy Land. Here is the Spirit of Christ alive in someone who would not claim the faith that allows that Spirit to be alive in our lives. If only Christian Zionists who are currently one of the main road blocks to peace in Israel/Palestine would exhibit this same spirit peace might be attainable:

The mothers “met” via a videoconference, since a face-to-face meeting had proved impossible.
Their exchange was tense, and understandably, fraught with grief and an array of complex emotions. Both arrived with agendas to uphold and negative assumptions about the other. They could not agree on the morality or immorality of what Ayat had done. But they did understand each other as mothers who were devastated to have lost their daughters.
Most important, after four hours of often circuitous, heated dialogue, neither of them wanted the conversation to end. They stayed as long as the video conference schedule allowed, and then left reluctantly. Regardless of the hostility, they had seen each other in a way that Israelis and Palestinians rarely do – as human beings – and they did not want to let that go. It was too precious.
Herein lies the seed of hope for peace, or perhaps just a seed of hope for hope. When the US, Arab, and Israeli leaders meet at the upcoming summit, they might bear in mind that they are not representing political or military factions, but mothers, daughters, fathers, and sons who yearn to have their humanity recognized. “

The link you have provided here underscores the issue. The person who wrote this article accepted what these three men said at face value. She just assumed they were telling the truth about their background. But Kamal isn’t telling the truth. And I now have proof that Waleed Shoebat is also weaving a web of lies, proof that should become known soon.
Do you support people whose message (which is this case is filled with distortions and hatred) is based on lies? I would hope not.
Here’s the point. I don’t mind at all having a debate about the dangers of the militancy of Islamic hate groups. Certain things these men say are worth hearing (not much, but some). Nor do I believe that anyone should be stopped from sharing their opinions about Israel/Palestine either from the right or the left. I am a great believer in free speech. I also feel Christians need to be engaged in a much healthier debate about the issues than we have done so far as here, too, the pressure is on to jump on one bandwagon or the other without actually hearing what the others have to say.
But I do not think we should be giving encouragement to people who are not telling the truth, deliberately creating fictional biographies to give credence to their message. University professors get fired when they are caught creating fictional biographies. We need to do the same with those who are currently out on the lucrative speaking circuit plying on people’s ignorance about the Middle East. They need to tell the truth . . .

The litany of accusation in the media came in sequence, first I was a Lebanese Falangist, when this was proven false, then denial of my connection to ever have lived in Israel , when this was proven false, then I was never in prison in Jerusalem. When this was proven false, then I was a Zionist agent doing this for money. The known writer Chris Hedges claims that my story is a “fraud” without any shame or a spec of evidence.
You will find several articles attempting to discredit my story and my claims. My story is a litany of personal accounts from imprisonment, an attempted lynching, as a failed bombing operation of an Israeli bank, a mother that was not permitted to leave to her country (U.S), an education on anti-Semitism, terror support in the U.S, and a connect to family well linked to terrorism. These are well documented in my book “Why We Want To Kill You,” yet rest assured that nothing can be refuted in an entire book no matter what article critiques write. Everything is true. These attempts to discredit my story came through my Muslim family and relatives who are either involved in aiding and abetting terrorism, financial terrorism, or actual bombings in Israel. He is now free, willing and ready to testify against me that I was never a terrorist, yet he will deny that he ever was one himself.
6-Ibrahim Khaleel Awadallah Shoebat (Shua’ybat). Ibrahim is a pro-Hamas educator who teaches Islamic studies on the Temple Mount. Ibrahim drowned in the Mediterranean and was rescued by a Jew while two of his colleagues died. Yet, this rescue by a Jew was never appreciated, in fact it is denied by the family.
FINANCIAL TERRORISM, MAJOR FRAUD AND CONTRABAND.
The following family members are wanted by the United States Police:
7-Salameh Daud Shu’aybat (and sons) who illegally funneled money from the United States by defrauding the Social Security system and held different identities that were obtained through fraud. This was in attempt to aid and abet terrorism in Palestine against Israel. (See exhibit A for fraudulent Social Security numbers)
8-Eiad Salameh Shu’aybat my first cousin (Salameh’s son) who is wanted by the United States for major financial fraud most likely linked to financial terrorism and was involved in a passport fraud operation (provided to me by Farid my brother), Enfamil milk scam and even illegally holds an Israeli passport that was fraudulently obtained to smuggle himself in and out of Israel proper. His United States citizenship was also obtained by fraud by claiming to be a Mexican farm worker. In fact a litany of stories on embezzlement and fraud can be tracked on Eiad. Here is one example:
“on November 9, 2001 seeking to discharge $617,267 of credit card debt for “Misc. Charges.” Examined at his § 341(a) meeting by a U.S. Trustee attorney, Salameh clarified the information on his schedules as follows: 1) a former roommate, Walid Abulawi, stole
over $60,000 in appliances and furniture from Salameh’s apartment; 2) Salameh lost over $100,000 gambling; and 3) Salameh brought his pregnant wife and four children from Israel so that the fifth child could be born in the United States. Credit cards were used for living expenses, gifts, and calls to Israel. The U.S. Trustee subpoenaed American Express records and learned that in a 30-day period, Salameh. went to a different Costco Wholesale Store (“Costco”) almost every day, spending a total of $62,347.89. On June 4, 2000, he flew to London and made duty free purchases (including at the Caviar House) and on June 5, 2000, he made purchases at Damascus, Gold Souk,Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Subsequently, the U.S. Trustee contacted an investigator at Costco and learned that there was a scam involving the purchase of cigarettes that were eventually sold in the Middle East. Costco traced the membership number for the purchases and determined: 1) the purchases belonged to A & M Trading
Company, a wholesaler; 2) the purchases were mainly for cigarettes; and 3) no sales taxes were paid. The U.S. Trustee also learned that the alleged former roommate, Walid Abulawi, was the principal of another company, W & A Wholesale, a producer and wholesaler of food, tobacco, and alcoholic beverages. Although the U.S. Trustee had a pending motion to dismiss, that motion was continued and § 727 complaint was filed based on false oaths, inability to explain the disposition of estate property, and failure to keep records. Salameh defaulted and on July 9, 2002, Judge Alberts entered the default judgment.” (U..S Trustee Report, August 16, 2002 Issue No. 10)
There is also a trail of credit card fraud by Eiad reaching to almost one million dollars in financial scams. Little has been done to fight this plague of financial terrorism in the U.S. To date, they United States government has done nothing to capture Eiad Salameh Shu’aybat.
Eiad is well connected with Hilarion Cappucci, a Christian Syrian born terrorist, and a major explosives smuggler (see Armed Struggle and The Search For State, page 349).
Eiad had disclosed to my brother Farid years ago of his intention to work with Cappucci to smuggle explosives via buses with welded covered compartments.

CASTING DOUBTS
Many leftist journalists love to cast doubts. They will use any unscrupulous methods and lawless witnesses in order to obtain anything to justify the cause of terror. Anyone can view from such damaging attempts that even lend additional credibility to my story and claims. My own family testified mixing truth with lies:
“In 1977 Walid was caught distributing Palestinian flags and was arrested and held for about two weeks in Mascubia Prison, until his mother went to the Embassy and got him released…But, when he was in jail he met someone who invited him to join a group against Israel. In 1977 Walid and his friends put packages behind a bank, but there were no explosives in it.” (Eileen Fleming, a very stupid journalist writing for Opednews, Feb 2, 2008)
One can read through the lines, it’s true that I was in prison and was involved with a terror group by my family’s own words. Don’t get caught up with the words “there were no explosives in [the package]” Why would my family remember an event in 1977 in which I planted a package without explosives? Why remember such an uneventful event? This attempt to discredit me is nothing new, yet these stories were never posted on mainstream media, why would you (if indeed you are honest) want to publish smear? You can also use the New York Times article which has not a single line of evidence, but remember, the credentials of that paper are questionable, not my story. They tried to smear McCain and they failed. No serious media believed the smear campaign in that paper which included CAIR (Council of American Islamic Relations) as an accepted verifiable source? In fact this article written by the New York Times was clearly refuted by terror expert Steve Emerson:
